[Rari Plastic Surgery] Double Eyelid Revision Surgery, Lower Eyelid Repositioning Repair, and Canthoplasty Revision: Real Selfie Review of Eyes Reborn After Surgery

When it comes to plastic surgery,

continuous desire and incorrect surgery can sometimes lead to the surgical area becoming damaged rather than looking better after surgery,

leaving expectations unmet and even spoiling the impression.

Today, we’ll look at the before-and-after photos of a person who underwent surgery to get out of such a situation.

Before surgery,

the patient had undergone double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction several times,

and had also received canthoplasty and lower eyelid surgery multiple times.

Although double eyelid surgery was performed together with ptosis correction surgery,

the thick double eyelids still did not allow the eyes to open properly. This caused the pupils to remain largely covered even when the eyes were opened wide, making the eyes look small and sleepy.

In addition, as a side effect of the lower eyelid surgery, the patient developed 三白眼, so the impression became even worse after the cosmetic procedures.

To correct these issues overall,

we first performed double eyelid revision surgery to lower the crease line. A line that is too high can make it difficult to open the eyes properly even with ptosis correction, so the line needed to be adjusted to a proper height for the eyes.

Then, to correct the 三白眼 caused by the lower eyelid surgery side effect, we fully released the fixation from the previous lower eyelid surgery to restore the eye to its prior state, and finally, even after fully restoring the lower eyelid surgery, we performed canthoplasty revision so the eyes would not become smaller or feel cramped, giving them a refreshed, more open look.

you might wonder why so many eye surgeries were done at once,

but if you look at the before-and-after photos,

you can see what changes this plan was meant to achieve and why these surgeries had to be done together.

The surgical result was sufficient, and many of the concerns the patient had before surgery were improved.

If we only used photos taken inside the clinic, there could be misunderstandings due to Photoshop or angles, so today we used selfie photos taken directly by the patient before and after surgery and looked at the changes over time.

It is clear that in the early stage, one month after surgery, swelling still made the double eyelids look thick, or caused the end of the double eyelid line to appear split.

There also seemed to be a slight undercorrection in the correction of the 三白眼, but as 3 months and 6 months passed and the swelling gradually went down and the eyes settled, in the chronological photos the double eyelid line became much more natural, and the eye shape clearly changed from before surgery into a better impression.
