[Lari Plastic Surgery] Correcting a Severe Uneven Eye with Double Eyelid Removal Surgery

Easy-to-operate eyes, and difficult-to-operate eyes.

In fact, there is no surgery that is truly easy,

but since everything in the world is relative,

Because the two sides are different and not in a typical state,

no matter what surgery is performed, the surgical method for each eye differs,

and since the extent of dissection becomes deeper,

compared to simply creating double eyelids with a non-incisional method,

these eyes require much more advanced surgical skill and technique.

To neatly organize such a chaotic pair of eyes,

this patient underwent double eyelid removal surgery.

The right eye shown above had a comparatively simple double eyelid compared to the left eye,

so the surgery was performed without any particular special findings.

Do you see the faint extra double-eyelid line beneath the deep crease?

The key point here is to remove the large crease while also properly releasing this faint, thin crease.

The adhesion that creates the double eyelid must be dissected deeply enough, up to the shallow layers near the outer skin,

so that the adhesion can be released well.

The challenge is this left eye.

Four lines of folds are widely distributed from the eyelid area almost up to near the eyebrow,

so you can see that the eye seems unable to open properly because of the force from multiple lines.

Because these multiple folds form lines through their own adhesions,

the incision must be made and all the internal adhesions must be carefully released.

Above all, to properly release the adhesion all the way up to the topmost line,

deeper and more precise dissection is needed than in other areas,

so it is much more difficult than removing a typical basic double eyelid.

And with double eyelids formed in multiple layers like this, it is not just about adhesion;

the skin has usually stretched a lot in order for multiple lines to form,

so it is also important to remove a certain amount of skin to match the eye shape and skin laxity of the opposite side.

After such a long and difficult surgery, the eyes will look like this after the operation.

Not only has the double-eyelid line been neatly removed,

but by removing the double eyelid, the difference between the two eyes that made them look uneven has been brought into balance.

Of course, this is absolutely not the appearance immediately after surgery.

Right after surgery, you may face results that make you wonder, "Is this right..?"

But plastic surgery is something that must be viewed over time,

so if you patiently wait with a calm mind and without worry,

Because the surgery itself cannot be done without an incision, an incision line remains when the eyes are closed,

but this scar improves over time,
