Let’s briefly look at three things that can be concerning after double eyelid surgery.

1. The first thing that comes to mind is scarring.

Double eyelid scars are not visible when the eyes are open, so they may not seem like a problem, but

when the eyes are closed, they appear as very obvious scar marks,

and while they may be nothing to people who are not particularly sensitive,

they can be a major source of stress for those who are.

To remove a double eyelid scar, the skin in the scar area must be cut out,

3. The last is a double eyelid line that looks artificially pinched.

This is less noticeable in natural double eyelids, but in surgically created double eyelids,

because the line is formed by intentionally attaching sutures to the muscle to create adhesion,

the double eyelid line can end up looking deeply pinched when looking downward, as shown here.
