We are going to look at a patient who did not achieve success in the first surgery

and therefore underwent overall eye revision surgery because of various needs.

Looking at the eyes before surgery,

1. The double eyelid had an uneven shape,

and especially the front part of the right double-eyelid line was bent with a sharp break.

Also, the inner corner of the eye looked pressed down, with a large portion of the pupil covered,

which gave the impression that the eyes could not be opened well.

2. Looking at the inner corner of the eye,

there was first a white restoration scar from the epicanthoplasty restoration surgery,

and compared with the left eye, the shape of the right inner corner was also quite poor.

3. At the outer corner of the eye, even though a canthoplasty had clearly been performed,

it still looked tightly closed and stuffy, as if it had never been opened.

This patient underwent double eyelid revision surgery, epicanthoplasty revision surgery, and canthoplasty revision surgery at our clinic.

The improvements mentioned above can be seen after surgery.

1-1. Through incisional double eyelid revision surgery, the overall shape was made a little softer.

While smoothly correcting the bend in the front part on the right,

the somewhat thick line was changed to a more natural one,

and the inner corner that was covering the pupil was lifted with ptosis correction,

helping the eyes open clearly and well.

2-1. The inner corner of the eye, which had been restored into an awkward shape,

was refined into a neat and sharp shape through epicanthoplasty revision surgery,

and the restoration scar from the epicanthoplasty was improved as well.

(Performing epicanthoplasty revision after epicanthoplasty surgery is also a revision surgery, so it is a challenging procedure,

but performing epicanthoplasty revision after epicanthoplasty restoration surgery is a much more difficult operation.)

3-1. Canthoplasty revision surgery was performed so that it could be the final surgery,

lowering and opening the outer corner of the eye as refreshingly and clearly as possible.

Unlike before the surgery, it clearly looks like an eye corner widening procedure was done,

and the result is a larger eye with an open, refreshed feeling rather than a stuffy one.

Also, unlike the canthoplasty performed at other clinics, the result stays in place even after 3 years!!
