Double eyelid removal is, as the name suggests, a surgery that removes the double eyelid fold,

It completely changes a double eyelid that was deeply set on only one side from birth

into a no-fold eyelid.

Second, it can be combined with ptosis correction to help the eyes open properly.

In the right preoperative eye, where a faint line could be seen above the eyelid,

there was not only a fold,

but also a lack of strength in opening the eyes, so the eyelid was vaguely covering the eye,

giving an overall feeling of heaviness and discomfort.

So, by removing that line and strengthening the muscles used to open the eyes,

the surgery made it possible to open the eyes well without a double eyelid fold afterward.

Third, instead of performing the same surgery on both sides,

it can be done with different plans on each side,

like above, to correct severe asymmetry and help both sides look more similar.

Before surgery, the asymmetry between the two eyes was severe, making the face look unstable,

but after the double eyelid removal surgery, the balance between both eyes improved,

resulting in a more stable and more masculine impression.

We compared the photos taken before the double eyelid removal surgery and 7 months after surgery,

looking at the entire face, not just the eyes.

As you can see in the photos, the patient above only had eye surgery,

but the impression before and after surgery changed significantly. Among everyone, it is a known fact that the eyes are a very small part of the face,

but the changes brought by this small area can have a huge impact on the entire face.
