so they were considering double eyelid removal surgery.

In eyes like this, the problem is not only the multiple folds of the double eyelids,

but if you simply remove the double eyelids as they are,

the eyes can look very heavy and cramped.

So in cases like this, while removing the double eyelids, eye correction surgery is performed at the same time

to strengthen the eye-opening muscle and make the eyes larger as well.

Before surgery, the pupil was only half visible because it was compressed by multiple eyelid folds,

but after the double eyelid removal + eye correction surgery,

the eyes became larger so that the pupil is almost fully visible.

However, in cases like this patient, where sagging skin creates multiple folds,

there is extra skin, which causes overlapping folds in the eyelids.

Therefore, a certain amount of skin must be removed to control the amount of skin

so that multiple double eyelids do not recur.

Unlike this patient, if someone has had double eyelid surgery before

and wants to remove the previous double eyelid surgery scar while also removing the double eyelid,

skin removal is still necessary,

although not to the same extent as in cases with multiple folds.

some patients may have slightly less complete eye closure in the early stage after surgery.
