[Lari Plastic Surgery] Before and After Photos of a Case with Fast Recovery After Surgery to Remove Double Eyelids

Compared with double-eyelid surgery that creates a thick line, or revision double-eyelid surgery,

surgery to remove double eyelids tends to cause less swelling, but

recovery varies greatly from patient to patient in terms of swelling and the length of the healing period.

Although it is the same surgery name,

the shape and condition of the eyes seen during the postoperative course vary so much

that it is a good idea to check various possible cases in advance before surgery.

Today, we will look at pre- and postoperative photos from the short-term course of a patient

who experienced a fairly quick recovery period.

This patient had naturally occurring double eyelids that were asymmetrical,

so after considering surgery to remove the double eyelids, the patient underwent the procedure.

Here is how the patient looked one month after surgery.

Doesn't it look very natural for a one-month result?!

Because the asymmetry was severe, one side appeared to have a pronounced line while the other seemed to have none,

but if you look closely, the other side was also in a state where a faint line was beginning to form above the eyelid.

So surgery to remove the double eyelids was performed on both sides.

Similar to the 3-month and 6-month results discussed in previous posts,

this is a one-month result that settled in quickly.

There is no eyelash inversion and no visible line,

a complete single-eyelid transformation one month after surgery!

Of course, since only one month has passed, when you look at the eyes closed,

the incision scar is still visibly remaining.

However, for one month after surgery, the eyes close well,

and the incision line is recovering well with almost no redness.

Looking at the eyes after surgery, the double eyelids have been removed very well,

but compared with the time before surgery when the patient had double eyelids,

some people feel that after surgery to remove the double eyelids,

the upper eyelid looks a bit puffy.

So during follow-up checks,

some people say they would like to remove a bit of fat from the eyelid area.

When people who do not have much fat in the upper eyelid undergo surgery to remove double eyelids,

a hollowing of the eyelid area often occurs, and fat grafting may be needed.

If there is too little fat in the upper eyelid after surgery,

a hollow may appear in the eyelid area, making the eyes look tired,

or a new double-eyelid line may form higher up.

The progress shown above has had the double eyelids removed well,

but the swelling has not completely gone down yet.

As time passes and the remaining minor swelling fully subsides,

the puffiness in the upper eyelid may improve a little,

but after surgery to remove double eyelids, the upper eyelid looking slightly puffy

is actually better for the postoperative course and for preventing the double eyelids from returning.

We looked at pre- and postoperative photos one month after surgery to remove double eyelids.

As mentioned earlier, this patient recovered faster than others,

and the eyes settled in quickly.

There are definitely people whose swelling, bruising, or incomplete eye closure lasts a long time,

so we recommend looking at many different postoperative cases in advance

and getting surgery with plenty of room in your schedule.
