Hello.
This is ID Dental Clinic Sinsa Main Branch :)
A little while ago, composer Yoon Il-sang from Immortal Songs visited our dental clinic!
Since he appears on TV a lot and also regularly does YouTube shoots,
he came in because he wanted to make his teeth, which had long been a complex for him, look beautiful 👍
My laminate
My own laminate
Teeth closest to my identity
He was very satisfied after getting MyTE, and now let’s take a look at that story together :)

MyTE laminate review

Composer Yoon Il-sang from Immortal Songs visited ID Dental Clinic Sinsa Main Branch!
Not long ago, his wife received MyTE laminate treatment at our clinic, and he said it looked so beautiful that he wanted to join in as well, so he came to visit.

The reason he decided to get ID MyTE laminate treatment this time was that, through many broadcasts and YouTube channels, he is always greeting viewers, and he thought people would like it if he could show a better appearance and a brighter smile :)
Although composer Yoon Il-sang has always shown his smiling face well, it seems he had been worrying a lot about issues such as tooth discoloration.

Composer Yoon Il-sang from Immortal Songs had his ID laminate 'MyTE' treatment handled by [Director Lee Jong-hwa] 👍
The composer also felt reassured, saying the director had such a good impression and seemed like he would treat him well without pain :)
In fact, Director Lee Jong-hwa always explains things calmly and kindly to patients, and he is also very good at treatment!

Consultation before treatment begins!
Looking at composer Yoon Il-sang’s dental condition, one front tooth was missing and connected with a prosthetic.
This time, with ID MyTE laminate, the plan is to fill the empty space and make the shape more beautiful.

Before treatment, we also gave a detailed explanation of how ID MyTE differs from regular laminate.
In general, regular laminate is about 0.7 mm thick, whereas ID MyTE is designed to suit each patient as naturally as possible and is created by hand carving, making it much more precise.

Because of that, it is much thinner while still having natural translucency, so it can be completed to look 'just like my original teeth.'
This approach is not simply about changing one tooth; it is the result of asking and researching what kind of teeth fit each individual best.
You can think of it as going beyond the limits of simply thin laminate :)

However, because MyTE is transparent, he was worried that tooth discoloration might show through.
The director added that the existing tooth discoloration is carefully removed first, and then MyTE is attached, so there is no need to worry.

He said he was a little scared because it is dental treatment, but he was reassured when he heard that if pain is rated from 1 to 10, anesthesia is about a 3 and there is no pain after that :)
Many people actually have a lot of fear and anxiety about dental treatment.
However, various anesthesia methods are prepared, and through consultation we can find an appropriate method while also reducing tension through enough explanation in the pre-treatment stage.
-
People with severe dental treatment trauma
-
People with severe dental phobia
-
People who are sensitive and easily affected by pain
-
People with strong fear of anesthesia
If you fall into any of these categories, please tell us in advance at our ID Sinsa Main Branch.
We will explain appropriate anesthesia methods, etc. 😀

Composer Yoon Il-sang’s treatment began.
Although we explained everything during the consultation, once he sat in the chair, we looked at his oral condition and gave a more detailed explanation of the treatment.
ID Sinsa especially pays close attention to 'preserving natural teeth.'
They take care not to unnecessarily damage the teeth that will receive ID MyTE laminate.

Five days later, a custom MyTE made just for Yoon Il-sang was completed!
Because it is a one-step system in which a dedicated ceramist participates from consultation through design and production only for each individual, the remake rate is less than 1%.
To avoid having to remake it, treatment and consultation are carried out properly from the very beginning.

Composer Yoon Il-sang’s MyTE had a thickness of 0.6 mm at its thickest point and as thin as 0.3 mm at its thinnest point.
0.3 mm...
Just hearing the number may not make it easy to imagine how thin that is, so let’s compare it simply!

Contact lens vs MyTE
MyTE boasts a thickness even thinner than an actual contact lens.
With this comparison, you can see how thin it is, right? 😀

Finally, it is time to attach the MyTE.
Each tooth is attached very carefully, with thorough and final checks all the way through.
Because MyTE laminate uses genuine high-end materials, the fracture rate is close to less than 1%, and the adhesive strength is excellent.
After treatment, we provide MyTE care for 1 year / 3 years / 5 years to carefully check whether there are any issues.

MyTE laminate Before & After

This is composer Yoon Il-sang’s before-and-after MyTE laminate result.
What do you think?
The teeth are much cleaner and more aligned, but if you look without the before photo, they seem so natural, almost as if they were his original teeth.
The reason it can look this natural is that ID MyTE laminate treatment carefully selects the color based on 29 personal color codes so that it harmonizes with the lip color, skin tone, and overall impression.
It really is a 1:1 custom laminate design!

Since breaking his front tooth as a child, his teeth had always been a complex, but composer Yoon Il-sang was so happy to have resolved his tooth concerns!
We were also very happy and rewarded that the composer was satisfied :)
We will continue to support his future activities 👍
