“저는 I want it to not be obvious that I had laminate work done,
and for it to blend naturally with my facial impression.”

As no-prep laminate became widely known, many people began inquiring about treatment.
The most common question we heard was, “Will it look natural?”
Rather than a look that was overly white and shiny and stood out as artificial after laminate treatment, many preferred a natural appearance that did not look obvious.
At ID Sinsa, we focused not just on simple naturalness, but on results from laminate treatment that create a harmonious and natural impression that suits each person’s facial impression, skin tone, and smile line.
To do that, treatment had to be carried out with the standards and characteristics below. Today, we will share information related to this. We hope it helps you choose a dental clinic.
Thin and transparent,
but durable laminate

First of all, when people hear “no-prep laminate,” they may think it means attaching a prosthetic directly to the tooth without shaving the tooth at all.
However, if the prosthetic is attached immediately without any actual tooth refinement, the original tooth volume plus the prosthetic thickness are added together, making the teeth appear thicker and bulkier.
That can harm aesthetics, and as the prosthetic is attached over the teeth, it can create a feeling of pressure in the jaw and leave you feeling somehow uncomfortable.
So the key to no-prep laminate was to work precisely without causing unnecessary damage to the natural tooth, while making it thin and transparent, yet durable.

To do that, the most important thing was to find a dental clinic and medical team with extensive clinical experience. Once you found such a clinic, it was necessary to look into the process they use to create prosthetics that suit each person most naturally.
At ID Sinsa, a dedicated ceramist participated from the initial consultation stage and designed a 1:1 custom no-prep laminate.
Recently, composer Yoon Il-sang from Immortal Songs also visited for treatment.
In fact, after his wife received treatment first and was highly satisfied, composer Yoon Il-sang, who was active across TV and YouTube and had concerns about his teeth, also decided to go ahead with treatment.

We listened carefully to what dental concerns the composer had been dealing with, and created a customized treatment plan so that we could achieve the most ideal result in line with his expectations.
We checked the overall alignment and oral condition, and comprehensively analyzed the shape and color ratio of the teeth, the gum line, and the bite.

At first glance, the shape and color of the teeth may seem similar, but if you look closely, each one is slightly different in shape, size, and shade, so it was very important to find a personalized tooth design that fit the individual precisely.
That is why a dedicated ceramist participated in a one-step process from consultation to design and fabrication, using 29 personal color shades as a foundation. Even the skin tone was taken into account when carefully selecting the color. You could think of this as truly a process for a no-prep laminate made just for me, for me.
Because of these features, the remake rate was also kept below 1%, so re-fabrication was rarely needed and satisfaction with the initial treatment results could be high.

ID MyTE was characterized by being thinner than existing laminates. It was handmade by carving, and it was even thinner than actual contact lenses, giving it a transparent naturalness.

In general, standard laminate is about 0.7 mm thick, but MyTE was about 0.3 mm in the thinnest areas and about 0.6 mm at its thickest.
Composer Yoon Il-sang from Immortal Songs also underwent treatment with custom laminate with this kind of thickness.
High-end genuine materials were used, so even though it was thin, the strength was high and it did not break easily. The fracture rate was also below 1%.
We can say this was possible thanks to countless experience and refined technical skill.
Providing care after treatment
so it can be maintained for a long time

Even after making the no-prep laminate that suits you most naturally, problems could arise before you have used it for very long.
-
When the laminate is not strong enough
-
When the laminate is not attached properly
-
When the natural tooth was excessively damaged and became weakened
-
When it fell off or fractured because cautionary instructions were not followed properly
-
When it broke or came off due to a sudden accident
So just as natural teeth are regularly checked and maintained, laminate also needs proper maintenance.
Since you never know what may happen in the situations above, it was necessary to visit the dental clinic regularly to check whether there were any problems with the teeth and whether they were being used properly, and if any possible issues were anticipated, to take action in advance to prevent the problem from growing larger.

That is why it was also very important that the dental clinic that treated the no-prep laminate remained stable and in business.
You needed to choose a place with a low risk of disappearing midway, so that even after treatment you could continue going for regular checkups for years, and if another treatment became necessary, they would still know your prior treatment history well and could even become your regular dental clinic.
From the patient’s perspective as well, consistently visiting one trustworthy dental clinic rather than looking around and going to multiple places could be better in the long term.

Therefore, after no-prep laminate treatment, it was good to look into what kind of warranty system was in place.
MyTE also paid close attention to post-treatment maintenance.
Through a program called MyTE Care, they provided warranties over 1 year, 3 years, and 5 years. It was reassuring to entrust treatment to a place that not only finishes with treatment, but also provides ongoing maintenance for a certain period afterward.
Laminate made for me, MyTE

The most lasting beauty, and the beauty that never gets old, can be said to start with what suits you most naturally.
That is why MyTE strives to create “what is most like me” and “teeth that are closest to my identity.”
This was possible thanks to the skill and know-how of medical staff with extensive clinical experience, veteran dental technicians, and the expertise of staff in each field.
I hope today’s information will be helpful when choosing a dental clinic, and I will end the post here.
