and the topic was the types of cements, resin, and bonding agents!

✔️ Cement → A dental adhesive that firmly fixes crowns or prosthetics in place

✔️ Resin → A tooth-colored restorative material used for cavity treatment or improving the shape of front teeth

✔️ Bonding agent → An adhesive that helps resin or prosthetics adhere well to the tooth

At Live Dental Hospital, when performing implants,

we have been researching a cementless method that does not use

cement or bonding agents,

and we have recently been posting a lot of content about it~

But!

Not every treatment can be done with just one method~

✔️ Anterior prosthetics where aesthetics are important

✔️ When filling a hole after cavity treatment

✔️ Temporary prosthetics or hybrid prosthetic structures

In cases like these, there are moments in clinical practice when

cement and bonding agents are absolutely necessary.

During today’s training, we looked at which materials are needed and why depending on the case,

and we were able to study together the exact selection criteria and clinical applications

while sharing each other’s know-how💡
