Which is better, Rejuran or Juvelook?
This is a question we hear very often during skin booster consultations. Since both procedures are commonly chosen for skin improvement, many people are confused about how they differ.
But Rejuran and Juvelook are not just skin boosters with similar names. In fact, their ingredients, mechanisms of action, and the effects you can expect are different. So rather than asking, “Which is better?”, it is more important to consider which procedure better suits your current skin concerns.

What kind of procedure is Rejuran?
Rejuran is a skin booster based on PN (polynucleotide) ingredients. It is known to be derived from salmon DNA, and it is easier to understand if you think of it as a procedure focused on helping skin regeneration and recovery, thereby improving the skin’s natural condition.
It is especially often recommended for people with sensitive, thinned skin, or concerns such as inner dryness, fine lines, or poor skin texture. Because it is closer to restoring the skin barrier in a stable way and improving overall skin condition, it often suits people who want their skin to feel healthier.

What kind of procedure is Juvelook?
Juvelook is a skin booster that uses PDLLA (or a PLLA-type ingredient) and hyaluronic acid to induce collagen production. It is easier to understand as a method that stimulates collagen regeneration within the skin, helping improve elasticity and skin structure.
For that reason, it is often recommended for people concerned about enlarged pores, acne scars, uneven skin texture, or reduced elasticity. Rather than providing immediate hydration, it is a procedure that works more toward gradually making the skin firmer and smoothing out the skin texture over time.

Which skin type is it better suited for?
If your skin is generally dry and sensitive, or if your overall skin condition feels significantly weakened, Rejuran is often a better fit. In particular, for concerns where skin recovery is important, such as fine lines, skin texture, or inner dryness, Rejuran is often considered first.
On the other hand, if you want to improve the skin structure itself, such as pores, acne scars, or reduced skin elasticity, Juvelook may be more suitable. In practice, depending on the skin condition, these two procedures may be combined, or Rejuran may be used first to stabilize the skin condition before proceeding with Juvelook.

Both Rejuran and Juvelook are skin boosters that improve the environment inside the skin, but they differ in their goals. Rejuran is centered on skin recovery and regeneration, while Juvelook is centered on collagen production and improving elasticity and scars, which may make it a little easier to choose between them.
Most importantly, rather than simply following a trendy procedure, it is important to choose the direction that matches your current skin condition and concerns. Even with the same skin booster, results can vary depending on skin type and treatment plan, so we recommend 충분한 consultation with a dermatologist to determine the treatment direction that is right for you.
