Hello. This is Lucid Dental Clinic.
When confidence in smiling drops because of the color, shape, or alignment of the teeth,
Lucinate is one way to help the smile look more natural and well-balanced.
In particular, for office workers who do not have much time,
or for people with an important schedule coming up soon,
a treatment process that is simple and has a short treatment period
may be preferred.
The 'One-Day Lucinate' performed at Lucid Dental Clinic
is operated based on a system that, in line with this demand,
checks the condition of the teeth on the day of the visit and, if the requirements are met,
allows fabrication and attachment to be completed within a relatively short time.
However, this does not apply equally to all patients,
and there may be differences depending on an individual's oral condition,
the necessary design conditions,
and the number of teeth to be treated.

What is Lucinate?
Lucinate is a form of prosthetic dental treatment that improves aesthetics
by attaching a thin ceramic shell to the outer surface of the teeth.
Because it generally uses a thinner material than laminate,
the amount of tooth reduction can be minimized,
and it is characterized by preserving the tooth's original structure and function as much as possible while improving appearance.
Lucinate can be used when improving the color, shape, or length of teeth,
and the necessity and scope of application may vary depending on each person's dental condition.

Process of One-Day Lucinate
'One-Day Lucinate' is a treatment system at Lucid Dental Clinic
that aims to complete fabrication and attachment on the same day by using digital equipment
and an in-house dental laboratory system.
However, this can be adjusted depending on the patient's oral condition,
the number of teeth needed,
and the design process.
The basic procedure is as follows.
- Consultation and oral condition check
The alignment, position, periodontal condition, and whether there is any enamel damage are checked
to determine whether Lucinate is appropriate.
- Digital scan and design planning
A precise scan is performed using an intraoral scanner,
and the ceramic shell design is customized through the planning process.
- Ceramic processing and fabrication
The designed shell is processed using an in-house milling machine,
and high-strength ceramics such as e-max blocks are mainly used.
- Attachment and bite adjustment
The completed Lucinate is bonded to the tooth surface,
and the bite is adjusted to complete the final finishing.
The entire process may be completed within a few hours,
depending on the patient's oral condition, but in some cases
additional time may be required.

Indications and Precautions
Lucinate may be considered in the following cases.
▪ When improvement in tooth color is needed, but the whitening effect is limited
▪ When there are spaces between teeth or the shape is unbalanced and aesthetic improvement is desired
▪ When tooth wear has made the teeth appear shorter and supplementation is needed
▪ When orthodontic correction of the front teeth is difficult and a simpler method is preferred
Post-treatment precautions
After Lucinate attachment, the following should be observed for a certain period.
▪ Avoid hard or sticky foods
▪ As much as possible, avoid staining factors such as smoking and coffee
▪ Be careful with very hot or cold foods, as they may cause temporary sensitivity
▪ Avoid excessive bite force and check your condition through regular oral examinations
If this lifestyle management is combined with regular clinic visits for checkups,
more stable maintenance and management may be possible.

'One-Day Lucinate' is one of the dental approaches that can be applied to people who are considering improving the appearance of their teeth within a short time, even amid a busy daily routine.
However, it is not a treatment that applies uniformly to all patients,
and suitability and planning may vary depending on an individual's oral condition,
the alignment of the teeth,
and the condition of the enamel.
Lucid Dental Clinic provides treatment tailored to each individual's situation
based on precise diagnosis and planning using digital equipment.
If you would like to find out which method is right for you,
it is recommended that you receive a diagnosis through a consultation.
