Lituo,
A to Z of the procedure, explained directly by the director
Filling the skin from within with cadaver-derived collagen
— the real principle behind Lituo
There are many people who are curious about Lituo,
so I organized everything one by one myself.
✅ 1. What effects does Lituo actually produce?
Lituo is a
volume-filling procedure using collagen.
It fills in areas that have sunk in or lost volume,
while also helping to strengthen the skin’s internal structure.
It does not stop at simply filling the area;
you can also expect volume restoration through collagen
and a scar-prevention effect
.
If hyaluronic acid fillers create volume by
attracting moisture,
Lituo directly supplies
collagen itself,
so many people feel that
the skin texture itself changes.
And one of Lituo’s biggest strengths is that
this effect lasts for more than 6 months.
✅ 2. How long does the effect last?

It lasts for more than 6 months.
Even after 6 months,
you can see that the sunken areas remain restored.
Because it restores volume using collagen,
its longevity differs from hyaluronic acid fillers,
which are absorbed quickly.
Of course, the duration may vary
depending on individual skin condition and the treatment area.
In general, the better the skin elasticity,
the more consistently you maintain it,
the longer it tends to last.
✅ 3. Is it effective for the eye area, mouth area, and fine lines?
Yes, it is effective.
It can also be used on the eye area, mouth area,
and fine-line areas.
Even in shallow areas like fine wrinkles,
Lituo collagen fills in naturally,
helping improve skin texture.
However, for thin-skinned areas such as around the eyes,
adjusting the treatment depth and amount is important,
so please be sure to mention it during your consultation,
and we will plan accordingly.
✅ 4. Is it only effective when the skin is dry
and dull?

It is true that it is especially effective on dry and dull skin.
A state where the skin loses volume and becomes dull
means that collagen and moisture in the skin
have both decreased.
Since Lituo directly fills that empty space,
the effect is especially noticeable in this kind of skin condition.
✅ 5. Can it be combined after an Oligio procedure?
Yes.
There is no problem at all with combining it with Lituo
after an Oligio procedure.
In fact, combining procedures according to the skin condition
can lead to better results.
✅ 6. What does it mean to directly strengthen the ECM?
ECM stands for Extra Cellular Matrix,
or extracellular matrix in Korean.
You can think of it as the structural support
that fills the space outside cells,
that is, between cells.
Components such as collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid
are the main substances that make up this ECM.
As we age, this space gradually becomes emptier,
causing the skin to sink and lose elasticity.
When we say Lituo strengthens the ECM,
it means it directly fills the space between cells
with collagen.
At the same time as restoring volume,
it helps make the skin’s internal structure
firm again.
✅ 7. Since it is cadaver-derived,
are there any side effects or precautions?

Lituo uses acellular human dermis from cadaver,
that is, from donated human tissue,
as its raw material.
During the manufacturing process, it undergoes treatment
to minimize antigenicity,
that is, a rejection reaction to foreign substances.
Because the cellular components are removed
and only the collagen structure remains,
it is more biocompatible
than animal-derived collagen.
However, even with purification, it is good to know in advance
that allergic reactions may rarely occur.
If you be sure to mention your allergy history during the consultation before the procedure,
we can proceed more safely.
✅ 8. Which procedures can be combined with Lituo?
It can be combined with almost all procedures.
There are no special restrictions
on combining it with other treatments.
In fact, when combined with lifting, Botox,
or skin regeneration procedures,
it can create complementary effects.
Which procedure to combine it with
depends on your skin condition and goals,
and we decide that together during the consultation.
✅ 9. I’m curious about the treatment cost
Based on our current standard,
a 6cc treatment is about 600,000 KRW.
It may vary depending on the amount used and the treatment area,
so we provide the exact price after consultation.
✅ 10. What is the treatment interval?
We perform it at intervals of at least one month.
Sometimes one treatment is enough,
and depending on the condition,
we may recommend additional treatment if needed.
Rather than repeating it at short intervals without reason,
it is best to proceed when needed while monitoring the skin condition.
✅ 11. Lituo, CellDiem, JuviaCell
— are all of them available?
At our clinic,
Lituo and CellDiem are currently available,
and JuviaCell is not being used at the moment.
Which product is better suited to your skin
is something we will discuss together during the consultation.
Lituo is not simply a filler.
It is a volume-restoration procedure
that directly fills the internal skin structure
with human-derived collagen.
Its key differentiators are the effect that lasts for more than 6 months
and the principle of ECM strengthening.
If you are concerned about skin that has lost volume and become dull,
this is a procedure worth seriously considering.
