An injection that dissolves fat,
it can be a very good treatment if swelling is well controlled.
There are many people who are curious about the Double Slim Injection,
so I organized everything one by one myself.
"Why does it hurt even though I had anesthesia?"
"Why does the swelling last so long?"
"How is it different from a regular fat-dissolving injection?"
I get these questions very often.
I’ll explain each one honestly.
✅ 1. Why does it hurt even though I had anesthesia?

The Double Slim Injection
is mixed with an anesthetic.
The problem is timing.
For the anesthetic to actually take effect,
it takes a few seconds to a few minutes.
But the DCA ingredient in the injection
reacts before the anesthesia does.
DCA is a fat-dissolving ingredient,
and as the fat melts down,
a burning sensation,
that is, a stinging pain, is felt first.
After that, as the anesthesia gradually kicks in,
the pain fades into a numb sensation.
The first few seconds sting the most,
and after that it becomes much more comfortable.
✅ 2. Why does the swelling last so long?

Think about what happens when you bruise your face.
A small bruise disappears quickly,
but a bigger bruise lasts quite a while.
The Double Slim Injection works on a similar principle.
As the fat dissolves, cellular debris is created,
and this debris causes an inflammatory response,
which leads to swelling.
Because it takes time for our body to remove this debris,
the swelling goes down slowly as well.
There is a way to reduce swelling faster.
If you do light exercise often,
lymph circulation becomes more active,
and the debris is cleared out much more quickly.
✅ 3. How is it different from a regular fat-dissolving injection?

The key difference is the DCA ingredient.
Regular fat-dissolving injections
do not contain DCA.
No DCA means
there is no ingredient that directly dissolves fat.
The DCA in Double Slim Injection
is a component derived from bile acids.
Just as bile breaks down fat in food into smaller pieces
so it can be digested,
DCA works by directly breaking down
fat cells in the skin.
It is not about promoting fat metabolism,
but about reducing the fat cells themselves.
✅ 4. Are there people who are suitable and people who are not?

No, there aren’t.
If it’s fat, it dissolves.
If there is an area with fat,
it can be applied anywhere, whether on the face or body.
However, what I consider most important is
clearly distinguishing who should get it.
First, we need to accurately determine whether the case is due to excess fat that has disrupted the facial contour,
or whether lifting is also needed.
There are cases where simply dissolving the fat
is not enough to solve the problem.
✅ 5. Is the procedure carried out the same way for everyone?

No,
everyone is approached completely differently.
Just as facial shapes differ,
the distribution of fat also varies from person to person.
We identify the area where fat is most concentrated
and focus on removing that area,
or, even if the amount of fat is small,
if there is a point that affects the facial shape,
we may selectively dissolve only that area.
For example, there are cases such as the cheekbone area,
where even a small amount of fat can look more prominent,
and in those cases, a small amount can also be applied.
Because the face is made up of fat, muscle, and skin,
how each one is addressed
is the key factor that changes everything,
from lifting and elasticity to facial shape.
✅ 6. When do the effects start to appear?

The fat itself starts to dissolve within a few days.
But for the effect to become visible,
the swelling has to go down.
Swelling subsides slowly and continuously,
so it takes a little time.
Once the swelling has fully gone down,
the contour becomes much more clearly defined.
For the final result,
it’s best to wait and observe for more than a month.
✅ 7. How is it performed on a face with a thin fat layer?

On a face with a thin fat layer,
we approach it even more carefully.
To avoid one area becoming overly hollow,
the dose is injected in a wider distribution.
If it is concentrated in a specific area,
one side may appear sunken.
For a balanced result,
accurately identifying the fat distribution first
is more important than the procedure itself.
✅ 8. How do you decide between a standalone procedure and a combined procedure?

The criteria are clear.
If the only issue is excess fat,
a Double Slim Injection alone is enough.
But if there is both a lot of fat
and sagging or reduced elasticity,
it is much better to combine it with a lifting procedure.
If you only dissolve the fat and there is no elasticity,
it may actually look looser.
The key is to accurately identify
what the main concern is during the consultation.
The Double Slim Injection
is a procedure that dissolves fat cells themselves.
The biggest drawback of DCA is swelling,
but if that swelling can be well controlled,
it becomes a very effective treatment.
Double Slim is a DCA injectable
that we designed ourselves to improve this swelling.
First, identify whether the issue is fat, elasticity,
or both,
and then approach it in a direction that fits that need.
That is the most important thing.
