Maze Runner is a suspenseful thriller film. The process of the characters searching for an escape route through a dangerous maze unfolds in a truly tense and urgent way.
The excellent performances by the lead actors and the exciting progression made it a captivating film for audiences. In particular, the scene where something suddenly emerges from the water was truly chilling and shocking.
It was directed so vividly that it felt almost like witnessing it in real life.
Although the ending was not completely resolved, it also had the effect of making me hope that the questions would be answered in the next installment.

Overall, I think Maze Runner is a work that could be the best choice for fans of thriller films. Seeing the protagonist in the movie was really nice.
It was even more interesting because a Korean actor appeared. Still, the use of Korean seemed a little awkward. It seemed like most of the dialogue was delivered in English.
But in my view, the lead actor’s performance suited the role quite well. It is amazing to see how much the actor has grown after playing the little kid role in a work I saw before.
Watching the film, I felt it had a completely different vibe from the character I had previously known. But that kind of portrayal was actually quite impressive.
Through works like this, I think it was a good experience to see the diverse sides of Korean actors. I hope more works like this come out in the future.
