Mokdong Rejuran: Worried Because of the Pain?
<Must-Read Before the Procedure>
Mokdong Rejuran

<If this is your first time getting a Rejuran treatment,
please read the post below first^^>
Hello.
I’m Kim Jin-hyeon, chief director of You&I Clinic Mokdong Branch.
“I want to get Rejuran treatment,
but I’m worried because there are so many reviews saying it hurts too much..."
Many people hesitate over Rejuran because of reviews about pain, even while considering the treatment.
If you search online, you can often find reviews saying, “It was satisfying, but the pain made me unable to imagine getting it again.”
So today, I’d like to introduce Rejuran HB+.
This product was developed in response to many people’s concerns about pain, and it has been gaining attention because it maintains the regenerative function of existing Rejuran while reducing the burden of pain.
From now on, I’ll explain the ingredient composition of Rejuran HB+, why it may help reduce the pain burden, and which skin types it may be suitable for, one by one.
If you’ve been interested in Rejuran, please be sure to read until the end ^^!

The different
'Rejuran HB+'

Rejuran HB+ is an injection designed to target both regeneration and hydration by combining hyaluronic acid (HA) with PN, the key ingredient of existing Rejuran.
PN is a high-molecular ingredient derived from salmon DNA, and it can induce recovery of damaged dermal cells while also contributing to collagen production and anti-inflammatory effects.
It can be especially helpful in efficiently supporting regeneration in thin skin or areas vulnerable to irritation, and may be involved in restoring the structure of skin weakened by fine wrinkles, reduced elasticity, or external stress.
Hyaluronic acid (HA) is one of the representative moisturizing factors and is characterized by its strong ability to attract moisture.

While PN helps regenerate the dermis, HA helps stabilize the moisture barrier of the epidermis and contributes to smoothing the skin texture.
"So does that mean Rejuran HB+ just adds
more moisture to the existing product?"
It would be difficult to say that it simply adds moisture.
Rejuran HB+ is a treatment that can induce two effects at once: structural regeneration of the dermis and formation of a moisture barrier in the epidermis.
If the existing Rejuran focused on dermal regeneration,
Rejuran HB+ can be seen as a treatment aimed at a multi-layer recovery design across the skin’s entire layers.

Is it really true that it hurts less?

One of the reasons people avoid the existing Rejuran treatment is because of reviews saying they felt intense pain during the procedure.
PN tends to be relatively viscous, and since it does not contain a separate anesthetic ingredient, people may feel pain beyond just a sting during injection, along with a pulling sensation inside the skin or a throbbing discomfort.
However, Rejuran HB+ focuses on addressing these existing inconveniences by including lidocaine, a local anesthetic.

It is designed so that local anesthesia works at the same time as the injection into the dermis, helping reduce the burden of pain.
In particular, treatments in thin and sensitive areas such as around the eyes or mouth can be performed relatively more comfortably, which has helped improve accessibility to the Rejuran treatment itself.

"But it’s not completely painless, right?"
Yes, there may be differences in pain sensitivity from person to person, and even with lidocaine included, the sensation of PN being injected into the skin may still remain.
However, compared with existing Rejuran, it can help reduce the intensity of the irritation felt, so it may lower the barrier for people who previously gave up on the procedure because of pain^^

Rejuran HB+ may be suitable for these skin types
Rejuran HB+ is not simply a milder version of existing Rejuran.
It is a treatment that can be usefully applied when the skin is in a sensitive state, moisture loss is severe, and both soothing and recovery need to be planned at the same time.

Skin that needs regeneration but is also dry.
Skin where makeup lifts and dead skin cells flake off frequently.
Cases where simple moisturizing does not improve the condition,
and recovery from the dermis layer is needed.
Cases where you have tried Rejuran before but hesitated to repeat it because of pain.
In these cases, Rejuran HB+ may help.
However, it would be difficult to say that Rejuran HB+ is always better than existing Rejuran.

At times, injecting only the PN ingredient may be more helpful when the focus is on restoring the skin’s regenerative ability.
So please keep in mind that the more favorable version may differ depending on each person’s skin type and treatment area, and be sure to get a detailed consultation through a pre-assessment before deciding on the treatment direction.

Rejuran HB+ is not just a less painful version of existing Rejuran.
As a PN&HA combination injection designed to address dermal regeneration, hydration, and soothing at the same time, it is an option that can be approached with less burden when the skin has become sensitive and dull.
The key to treatment is not simply “which one is said to be better,” but rather
finding out in detail what kind of stimulation your skin needs right now, and how recovery and balance should be achieved in a suitable way.
I sincerely hope this post was helpful for those considering Rejuran :)
