Natural Lip Filler
Hello,
More than 50% of the patients who visit us come through referrals,
and we have over 2,000 cumulative surgical cases from existing referred patients,
we are Banni Plastic Surgery, a clinic that practices proper and honest medical care.
Lip filler is a procedure that can significantly change the impression of the face even with a short treatment time and recovery period.
However, if the procedure is done incorrectly, only the lips may look overly swollen,
and the movement when smiling can become stiff and unnatural.
The natural lip filler we emphasize is not simply about adding volume,
but aims to create a natural change that feels like your original lips within the harmony of the entire face.

Considering the harmony and proportions of the whole face in the design
The lips are small on the face, but they are a key area that determines the impression.
Therefore, when performing lip filler, it is important not simply to make the lips thicker,
but to apply a design that matches the entire face.
In general, a 1:1.6 ratio between the upper and lower lips is considered ideal,
but this is not an absolute formula and is adjusted according to the individual’s face shape, nose/chin line, and philtrum length.
In particular, if the philtrum is long, the upper lip may be made slightly fuller to create balance,
and if the chin is short, the volume of the lower lip may be adjusted to complement the overall line.
In this process, even the angle of the corners of the mouth and the curve of the lip line must be carefully designed
to complete a natural and soft impression when smiling.
A moderate volume,
finely controlled injection amount
What matters in a natural lip filler procedure is
not “how much is injected,” but “how it is injected.”
If filler is injected excessively, the side profile can become overly protruded,
and from the front, only the lips may stand out, resulting in an unnatural outcome.
At Banni Plastic Surgery, after analyzing the patient’s lip thickness,
skin elasticity,
and movement patterns, we precisely inject only the necessary amount.
Because we also consider the direction in which the filler spreads and the depth of injection,
there is no foreign-body sensation even when the lips move, and the expression does not become awkward.

Reduced side effects,
reduced burden during recovery,
Because the lips are a sensitive area with a dense distribution of blood vessels and nerves,
side effects such as swelling, bruising, and asymmetry may occur after the procedure.
That is why we perform the procedure with a fine needle and gentle pressure,
focusing on minimizing tissue damage and shortening the recovery period.
We also provide care instructions immediately after the procedure.
During the first 1 to 2 days, cold compresses are recommended to reduce swelling,
and excessive lip movement and pressure should be avoided,
while cleanliness guidelines and prescribed medication help reduce the burden of recovery.
Most patients settle into a natural shape in about a week,
and after 2 to 3 weeks, the filler becomes fully integrated with the tissue,
allowing the lips to move smoothly and naturally.
A real case showing
natural lip filler changes

The patient in the photo above had insufficient upper lip volume and a blurred lip line before the procedure,
resulting in an overall flat impression.
The upper lip lacked central volume, and the lower lip also had a slight difference between the left and right lines.
During the procedure, we gave the center of the upper lip a natural volume
and enhanced the lines at both ends of the lower lip to complete a three-dimensional look.
Without adding too much, we preserved the original lip line
and designed it so that the corners of the mouth would appear slightly lifted.
As a result, the lips looked soft and harmonious both when smiling and speaking,
and natural volume was felt from both the front and side angles,
allowing for a successful natural lip filler procedure.
Banni Plastic Surgery
Lips completed with ‘Brilliant Filler’
At Banni Plastic Surgery, we use only fillers whose safety has been proven.
Among various product lines such as Restylane, Juvederm, Belotero, Yvoire, and Eptiq,
we select the product that matches the patient’s skin type, lip condition,
and desired image.
Based on our extensive clinical experience,
we follow three principles: facial harmony, accurate injection amount, and a safe recovery process,
and provide satisfying results even with a single procedure.
If you are considering natural lip filler,
please remember that it is more important than anything else
to choose a design that perfectly suits your own face,
rather than simply filling in volume.
At Banni Plastic Surgery, through sufficient consultation with the patient before the procedure,
we guide you to a design that can address your lip concerns,
and also explain the appropriate filler product and dosage, so please keep this in mind.
Thank you.
