The purpose of our infracture technique for reduction malarplasty is not merely a reduction of zygomatic complex, but a comprehensive contouring of malar body and arch.

 

We have found that the anatomical variation of frontal process of zygomatic arch and zygomatic process of temporal bone is very important in reduction malarplaty 

 

Therefore, we want to explain about technical pitfall of infracture technique (the importance of pivot point in infracture technique and the degree of infracturing amount) with three dimensional graphic animation(Fig. 1).

 

We also analyzed postoperative results with pre and postoperative 3-dimensional reconstruction of CT scan.
