Laminates Seminar 2DAYS Successfully Concluded; Notice of the August 30 Comprehensive Theory Seminar

The 2DAYS laminate seminar prepared by BlancheLAB

was successfully completed over two days, July 25 and 26.

Along with the story of the course, which filled all 12 seats as soon as it was announced,

we would also like to share news of the next seminar taking place on August 30. ^^

■ A Two-Day Laminate Seminar Where 12 Participants Learned Through Hands-On Practice

This course was not a seminar that ended with simply listening to lectures.

Over the two days, just 12 dentists took part in learning the theory and hands-on techniques of

“minimal-preparation laminates,” which aim to preserve as much of the natural tooth as possible while achieving natural-looking aesthetic results.

The class was limited to 12 participants so that everyone could focus on the practical training.

As shown in the photos, 12 was considered the appropriate number to allow us to observe each participant’s reduction direction and hand movements up close,

and to make any necessary corrections on the spot.

■ This Laminate Seminar Was Prepared for Dentists Facing These Challenges

When planning this seminar, the first things that came to mind

were three concerns frequently heard in clinical settings and dental practices.

• Dentists who want to start performing laminates but feel overwhelmed because they do not know where to begin learning,

• Dentists who want to reduce the amount of tooth reduction but are afraid of failure,

• And dentists who find it difficult to accurately communicate their desired shape and color to the dental laboratory.

These are problems that are rarely resolved while managing clinical work alone.

That is why this course was structured so that theory, hands-on practice, and communication with the dental laboratory

could be learned as one continuous process.

■ A Curriculum Divided into DAY 1 Theory and DAY 2 Practical Training

DAY 1 focused on the theory of minimal-preparation laminates.

Definitions and diagnosis, preparation and bonding

DAY 2 was dedicated to hands-on practice.

Participants worked directly on models to learn preparation, temporaries, and seating through hands-on experience.

The lectures were delivered in the following order: Director Kim Tae-hyung, Dr. Kim Ha-young, Dr. Park Kyung-ri, Dr. Baek Ju-hee,

Dr. Han Geon-hee, Dr. Kim Min-ju, and Choi Yun-seok, Director of BlancheLAB,

and the seminar concluded after a Q&A session and certificate presentation.

The program was organized so that speakers from each field took turns covering diagnosis and preparation, design and bonding, and occlusion and dental laboratory procedures.

Thanks to this format, we were able to discuss in greater detail the questions that arise when applying each step to actual clinical practice. ^^

From theoretical lectures on the precise techniques of minimal-preparation laminates

to hands-on training learned directly through practice,

we shared know-how and insights that could be applied immediately upon returning to the clinic.

Participants checked the reduction guidelines discussed in the theory session using a bur on the spot,

and followed the process through to attaching the temporaries. ^^

The July seminar in progress

■ Organizing More Than 10,000 Clinical Cases into Theory

• Director Kim Tae-hyung, Specialist in Advanced General Dentistry: Based on more than 10,000 clinical laminate cases, he has systematized the diagnostic criteria and clinical protocols for no-preparation and minimal-preparation laminates.

During this seminar, he personally led a lecture lasting approximately three hours,

presenting the clinical decision-making criteria and know-how accumulated over the years as one cohesive process.

• Rather than introducing only particularly successful cases,

• he explained which cases are suitable for a no-preparation approach,

• when minimal tooth reduction is necessary,

• and what needs to be checked to reduce the possibility of failure,

using actual cases to provide specific explanations.

At present, this is planned to be the final extended lecture in which Director Kim Tae-hyung personally shares

clinical criteria and know-how over approximately three hours.

As this will be an opportunity to learn with just 12 dentists,

we plan to calmly review the overall theory of minimal-preparation laminates and discuss the points that participants have been curious about in their everyday clinical practice. ^^

■ The Laminate Seminar Returns on August 30

Following the enthusiastic response to this seminar,

a one-day seminar titled “Comprehensive Review of Minimal-Preparation Laminate Theory”

will be held on Sunday, August 30.

We at Blanche will help illuminate the passion of dentists for laminates.

The seminar will take place on Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The venue is Osstem Implant (3 Magokjungang 12-ro, Gangseo-gu, Seoul).

The seminar is open to dentists, dental technicians, and dental hygienists, and the participation fee is 500,000 won.

A session that only presents successful cases would not be particularly helpful in actual clinical settings.
