we checked the shade.

The front teeth were similar to A3.5,

but from the canines onward they were quite yellow,

close to A5.

After that, we cleaned the tooth surfaces thoroughly

with air-flow

and proceeded.

The color became dramatically brighter after whitening.

If a shade that does not match the brighter teeth is used,

it can look artificial,

so we tested several shades in advance

and chose a natural combination.

Next, we performed resin treatment.

After attaching a rubber dam to completely block out moisture,

we carefully prepared the bonding through micro-isolation.

We then layered the translucent layer,

the body layer,

and the clear portion of the incisal edge

as if stacking them one by one.

Because teeth are not a single color but a structure

through which light passes,

skipping this process can make them look like an awkward “fake tooth.”

The moment the smile changes

Right after treatment, the patient looked in the mirror

and I still remember what they said.

“Now there’s nothing getting in the way when I smile.
