APTOS, a New High-End Thread — I Attended a Hands-On Seminar

Recently, with APTOS, a high-end thread lifting product, newly introduced to Korea,

I attended a small hands-on seminar.

When it comes to a new thread, I always look at “safety” first

To be honest, I am not the type to use a new thread right away whenever one is released.

Lifting results are important, but

👉 I believe safety + material quality + long-term effectiveness are much more important.

But this seminar was a little different.

APTOS, a company that is much older than I expected

APTOS threads are not completely new threads.

In 1987

a plastic surgeon in Russia

developed the first thread for facial fixation

Later, that doctor and his two sons (all plastic surgeons)**

grew the company together and continued evolving the threads,

and that company is APTOS.

👉 It was impressive that this was not just a newly launched brand,

👉 but a company with more than 30 years of clinical background.

Key points about APTOS threads that stood out

1️⃣ NAMICA – a hyaluronic acid-coated thread

This was the most interesting part.

• The thread surface is coated with hyaluronic acid • Dual coating with a Macro + Nano structure • Hyaluronic acid is released slowly for about one year

In other words,

✔️ Immediate lifting effect ✔️ Collagen production as the thread dissolves ✔️ Even long-term improvement in skin condition

👉 More than just a “pulling thread,” 👉 it felt like a thread that also manages skin aging, which matches my personal philosophy very well.

2️⃣ Bidirectional needle + PLCL-based thread (Light Lift 50)

As much as the thread material itself,

the “needle” is really important in lifting threads.

APTOS, which gradually degrades for up to 20 months and shows an ideal degradation curve

👉 I did not just look at the shape, 👉 but after performing hands-on treatment on actual patients, 👉 it felt very comfortable in my hand.

The barbs on threads are, more often than people think,

highly dependent on manual work,

and sometimes the finish is not very good.

The barbs on APTOS threads are

✓ Designed so they do not bend excessively under the skin ✓ A refined structure that makes good use of the material’s characteristics ✓ Even when seen and touched in person, they looked highly finished

👉 “The structure of the thread is refined” 👉 That seems like the most accurate description.

The real effect I experienced firsthand during the hands-on session

At this seminar,

2 double-chin cases 1 marionette-line case

a total of 3 actual patient treatments were performed, and I directly participated.

To be honest,

👉 the effect was better than expected.

✓ It responded well even in mild double-chin cases ✓ The design using the bidirectional needle was flexible ✓ Rather than simply feeling like pulling,

I got the impression that it was a lifting treatment that helped organize the overall facial impression.

Time spent with a “small number of experts”

At the hands-on site,

there were a small number of doctors who are among the top tier in sales for thread lifting in Korea.

As we shared with one another

✓ procedural techniques ✓ design opinions ✓ detailed tips from our experience

I arrived after finishing clinic,

and by the time it ended, it was 11:30 p.m.

I was tired,

but it was a very memorable day.

After much thought, we are also starting APTOS treatments
