Hello?
I’m Baek Won-seon, the lead dentist at an Apgujeong dental clinic.
Today’s patient is a woman in her 40s who had undergone resin fillings several times to address spacing between her front teeth and cavities, then finally decided to come to our Leve Dental Clinic for laminate veneer treatment.
In a previous similar case, I introduced a male patient in his 50s who visited us to solve spacing between his front teeth.
The "Revenate Expert" used at that time was a case that created a natural beauty.
This time as well, it is a case treated to match the patient’s personal standard of the beauty she wanted.

No-prep laminate veneer
Revenate Expert
Since the name Revenate Natural sounded somewhat neutral, we changed the name to the "Revenate Expert" lineup to give it a more professional feel.
At Leve Dental Clinic in Apgujeong, we plan treatment in three stages according to the level of the laminate veneer to be made:
Revenate Basic
Revenate Expert
Revenate Master
By the way,
not all laminate veneers are the same!!

This is not a case done at our clinic, but a case that was treated at another clinic a few years ago.
Doesn’t it look very different from the laminate veneer shown in the thumbnail above.....?
Dull and pebble-like laminate veneers....... with no shine and such a matte texture... truly an unattractive veneer. You could end up receiving treatment like this.
If you are considering laminate veneer treatment, you must go to a clinic that is good at it.
Visit a place like our Leve Dental Clinic, where we show you what treatment we are actually doing!!
I’ve been receiving resin treatment on my front teeth for a long time, and I’m suffering because of discoloration..
I also want to fix the spacing between my front teeth.

This patient visited our Apgujeong dental clinic because she wanted to solve the spacing between her front teeth and the discoloration of the front-tooth resin.
If you look closely, you can see that the edges where the front-tooth resin was filled have become discolored and look brown, right??

The blue-hatched area roughly indicates where the resin is attached.
Of course, simply treating teeth with that much resin already must have required real skill.
However, resin discoloration that occurs over time is almost inevitable... In the end, it becomes retreatment again and again....
The area marked in red is where resin was attached to the sides of the teeth to fill the gap between the front teeth.
Still, there is no discoloration there! There is, however, a little mismatch in color ^^;;
Ceramic laminate veneers can be the solution.
I want to clear up misconceptions about laminate veneers.

Looking only at the teeth above, the discoloration stands out even more. The teeth look blotchy, right?
You can’t keep doing only resin treatment forever. If discoloration appears again, you remove the existing resin and fill a wider area... and if resin discoloration appears again, you fill an even wider area...
Some people say there are dentists on Instagram who can beautifully restore teeth with resin, but honestly, I can guarantee that no dentist can predict the discoloration that will appear years after resin treatment.
For those who have had a lot of resin treatment on their front teeth, I think that alone is enough reason to boldly choose laminate veneers.
Rather than repeated resin treatment, attaching thin ceramic laminate veneers is a much superior and cleaner treatment.
My family members too (more precisely, my parents) received the same front-tooth treatment. It’s true!

If you look from the biting surface, the problem becomes even clearer.
There is a lot of space between the front teeth... and the existing resin is being applied in an endlessly thick manner..
I think spacing between front teeth + resin discoloration is really the most suitable case for laminate veneer treatment.

And one more thing! In this patient’s case, there was also spacing between the lower front teeth, so the teeth were quite spread apart.
You know how older people used to say that if your teeth are spaced apart, your fortune leaks out~ Filling the gaps by attaching resin to both sides is one way, but by attaching thin ceramic, you can maintain a perfect shape and color in the future without discoloration.

If you look at the lower front teeth from the biting surface, you can see that the spacing between the teeth is more significant than you might think.
Now, shall we take a brief look at the laminate veneer treatment process?

First, we measure the tooth color before reshaping the teeth.
During this process, we record the tooth color and shape the patient wants.

At our Leve Dental Clinic in Apgujeong, the attending dentist and a dedicated ceramist both participate in the consultation process for tooth shape and color, and we do our best to understand the patient’s needs.
This process is the most important!!! We have to understand exactly what kind of teeth the patient wants so they don’t have to come to the clinic several times. It’s a process for making it right the first time :)
Minimal tooth reshaping is required.

This is what the teeth look like after reshaping before attaching the laminate veneer at the Apgujeong dental clinic.
That’s really all there is to it.
Perhaps you might even think the teeth look prettier now. (?! )
You can think of it as a process of adjusting the vertical and horizontal contours and rounding off sharp areas.
It also makes the surface smoother so the manufactured Revenate fits the teeth perfectly.
Please scroll up and down to check it out!
Thanks to technological advances, laminate veneers have become stronger and thinner, so now they can be made by polishing only the teeth to a certain extent.!!

A natural smile record is a must!!!
Teeth being white is not necessarily a good thing~~
To create a dental arch that matches the center of the face,
To align with the horizontal line connecting the eyes, nose, and mouth,
and to create a shape harmonious with the smile line,
a frontal facial photo is essential.
Revenate Expert... Can you feel the expert touch?

In this patient’s case, the six upper front teeth and six lower front teeth were treated with "Revenate Expert."
REVENATE EXPERT
We truly worked hard to make it so that both the dentist and the dedicated ceramist’s expertise could be felt.
First, the color improved.
It feels like a very natural color, and if you look closely, you can see that we subtly adjusted the color of the neck, body, and edge areas of the teeth so they resemble real teeth.
If you’re not sure what this means...

Please refer back to the laminate veneer from the other clinic that I showed at the beginning.
We are proud to say that the laminate veneers made at our Apgujeong dental clinic are truly of a different class.
Next, the shape improved.
We secured left-right symmetry. If there is one small disappointment, the midline of the upper and lower front teeth is slightly different, but because we avoid filing down the teeth as much as possible, we cannot change the position as well. It’s a point that others won’t notice.
The black space between the teeth that appeared due to the spacing between the front teeth disappeared.
As the teeth become younger-looking, the appearance becomes younger too.

Because the patient wanted a natural color that matched her original skin tone, we did not pursue only a white color but instead made it look like the tooth color she would have had when she was younger!
Revenate Expert is a wonderful creation that fills the spaces between the front teeth and gums, aligns the vertical and horizontal contours of the teeth, and even brings an anti-aging effect like this!
Before & After

All work should be compared with Before & After photos to be clearly confirmed.
The change is so dramatic that you might wonder, “Is the person in the before and after photos really the same person...?”
A dentist known as a master of laminate veneers in the United States also said that laminate veneers are not simply about making teeth white, but about designing teeth to suit one’s face and helping to restore a youthful feeling through an anti-aging effect.

When you see the patient smiling slightly, the effect of the laminate veneer treatment seems even more obvious.
What do you think? Doesn’t it seem like she can now be free from the discoloration of the front-tooth resin and the gaps between the teeth that had been treated repeatedly over a long period, and smile with more confidence now?
I think many people will relate to this!!
I also graduated from Yonsei University College of Dentistry and completed four years of periodontal training at the main Yonsei University Dental Hospital in order to learn how to preserve teeth.
I worked hard on scaling and gum treatment to save loose teeth, and I deeply understand how precious teeth are.
There was a time when I thought laminate veneers were a mindless treatment that simply shaved down the front teeth.
But now, I have a completely different perspective on laminate veneer treatment.
Having beautiful front teeth is a very important factor in having a beautiful smile and, further, a beautiful face and image. Orthodontic treatment can create ideal tooth alignment, but it cannot give you symmetrical tooth shapes or bright teeth.
Thanks to technological advances, laminate veneers can now really be designed in 0.1 mm and even 0.01 mm units. In many cases, the actual thickness is only about 0.1 mm. Since that is one-tenth of a 1 mm mark, it’s hard to even imagine how thin it is.
If you can reshape the sharp parts of the teeth, make ceramic laminate veneers, and attach them so that you gain confidence and look more beautiful, thereby escaping your complexes... I think that is a sufficiently beautiful and essential treatment.
At our Leve Dental Clinic in Apgujeong, we will continue to strive to create laminate veneers with minimal tooth reduction and no-prep laminate veneers.
Isn’t it our duty as dentists to help people become more beautiful without harming their teeth!!
