Hello.
I’m Dr. Baek, the director of Rev Dental Clinic, the utopia of the dental world.
During the Chuseok holiday in 2025, I drove my own car to Busan for the first time in my life. lol
The three of us as a family worked hard... and spent a total of 10 hours in the car round trip!!!
And we visited our beloved, memory-filled Park Hyatt Busan~
In this post, I’ll cover breakfast, the patisserie, and a late-night snack (!).
There are quite a few photos, but you’ll be able to take a look at the delicious breakfast at the newly refreshed Park Hyatt Busan!

Park Hyatt Busan Breakfast

Breakfast is usually served together in Living Room on the 31st floor and Dining Room on the 32nd floor.
The names Living Room and Dining Room are easy to mix up, lol. I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days, ate in Living Room on the first day, and in Dining Room on the second day.
You wait for the Living Room breakfast in the lounge on the 31st floor, where the concierge is located.
There were a lot of Chinese guests, probably because it was Chuseok holiday. After waiting about 10 minutes, I was able to enter.
You can see the yacht parking lot that’s been talked about a lot lately, lol. The view is better in Dining Room than in Living Room.

Once your name is called, you can go in.
Park Hyatt Busan does feel a little dated. Since they use a lot of wood, that’s probably part of it...
Since I brought my baby, they gave us a baby chair, lol.
If you’re going with a child, I think Park Hyatt is the best in Busan.

They give you a menu first.
We simply ordered an omelet and Eggs Benedict. My husband and I always order one iced Americano and one iced latte.

The Eggs Benedict and omelet had quite good quality.
I’m on Team Eggs Benedict. lol I really love having salmon and avocado together~ ^^

Let’s take a look inside, shall we? Since the menu is what I’m most interested in, I’ll go through it calmly.
First up is the bakery!
One thing that stands out about Park Hyatt Busan... or maybe Hyatt in general? There are more foreigners than I expected.
For Marriott, Hilton, and Accor, which have affiliate cards in Korea, many Koreans also use them, so there are a lot of Korean guests.
But with Hyatt, which doesn’t have affiliate cards, the foreign guest ratio seems higher.
Park Hyatt Busan clearly makes an effort to suit the tastes of guests from many different countries.

They seem to put a lot of care into the bakery section.
Likewise, the patisserie in the lobby on the first floor is also quite high quality. As I’ll show you later, if you visit during happy hour, it’s seriously such a great deal. Almost unbelievable...

Leaving the bakery behind, let’s look at the main dishes that show the chef’s effort to appeal to people all over the world.

There are more dishes than you’d expect, hidden around in a somewhat random (!?) way, which makes it fun to explore.
There are 11 in total... First are pancakes and French toast, and next to them is Chinese-style stir-fried noodles.
Chinese guests really seemed to like it~

Simply stir-fried mushrooms and vegetables. And next to that is mapo tofu. lol

Just looking at it makes me hungry. lol
There are meatballs and grilled fish! It’s really... an unpredictable combination. lol

Next up are stir-fried pork, and... delicious hash browns!
If you look carefully, the ketchup is in the jam section.

Last are bacon, sausages, boiled eggs, and scrambled eggs.
It really shows an international cuisine vibe!

The next corner is for ham, cheese, and salmon items.
There are a few kinds of cheese laid out. One thing I noticed is that Korea really does seem to have fewer types of cheese, and they’re rather plain.

I remember the ham and salmon being tasty too.
There aren’t a huge number or variety, but they taste pretty good when eaten together with the bakery items.

The salad corner was very popular with foreign guests.
It may look simple, but it feels like everything that should be there is there.

Several kinds of milk - there are always as many as 7, which stands out every time.

Another feature is the Korean food corner tucked away in one side.
They put quite a bit of effort into Korean dishes.
There is rice, porridge, and soup.
And... fish cake skewers and tteok-mul! This is something you can order as in-room dining for late-night snacks, and they even told us not to order it because you can have it at breakfast... but it was hidden in the corner. lol

The Korean side dishes were quite good, so you’d be satisfied even if you just ate rice and side dishes.
You might think there are a little too few items, but this is Park Hyatt Busan’s breakfast corner, where each item seems carefully made.

What was unusual this time was that there were kimbap rolls and steamed dumplings!
It really has a rather rustic charm that you rarely see at a hotel. lol
This kind of unexpected fun is what always brings me back to Park Hyatt Busan.

It’s a clean and pretty space!
The baby climbed onto the chair, turned around, and caused a whole scene. lol

And so, one dish after another piled up...
The iced Americano and iced latte we ordered also came out at a quality worthy of being 20,000 won per cup ^^

That completes the breakfast table.
It was quite delicious and satisfying. There wasn’t a single menu item that fell short; it was a very decent and filling meal.

On the second day, we were guided to the breakfast corner in Dining Room on the 32nd floor.
The difference in menu was almost impossible to tell, but the way it was displayed felt more formal and nicer.
If you have the option, I think it’s better to eat in Dining Room on the 32nd floor. lol

We were assigned a corner seat, so the view was much better. lol
You can look down at Gwangandaegyo Bridge, and it was even better because I’d seen it so many times that it never gets old.
Now, if I don’t see this view, it doesn’t feel like I’ve come to Busan^^;
Park Hyatt Busan Patisserie

Actually, every time I come to Park Hyatt Busan, I make sure to stop by this patisserie.
There are more items than you’d expect. I visited around 6:30 p.m., and as you can see, there are various bakery items starting with salads and panini, plus desserts and even whole cakes.
There is an acai bowl at the top, and simple bread items in the middle too.

The key point is that after 6:30 p.m., it’s happy hour time, so they give a 30% discount.
The original prices are already reasonable, and with the discount, it’s basically Paris Baguette prices.
But the quality is really, really good.....
The mango whole cake we bought was 55,000 won -> after a 30% discount, we got it for under 40,000 won.
It was really delicious and great.
The chocolate muffin was 3,000 won -> 2,100 won, and the acai bowl was 8,000 won -> 5,600 won, so we happily and deliciously ate very well.
Seriously... it’s a place optimized for coming with family, enjoying the hotel, and having fun!!!
Park Hyatt Busan Late-Night Snack

One special charm of Park Hyatt Busan is that they’re serious about running original programs every time you visit.
When we visited in October, they were doing something called “Park Pojangmacha.”
At a 5-star hotel lounge, you could drink makgeolli and eat sashimi like you were at an outdoor pojangmacha!?!?!?
And even with the Gwangandaegyo Bridge view..
Even I think I took good photos ^^ The night view of Marine City is really so beautiful~

They probably aren’t doing it now... (since it’s strawberry season?)
This is the Park Pojangmacha menu we received at the time.
We ordered herb-pancake with dropwort, lobster tteokbokki, assorted aged sashimi, and a pot of makgeolli...
and this was a review of complete satisfaction.

To be able to have a glass of makgeolli while looking at Gwangandaegyo Bridge from a 5-star hotel lounge...
Doesn’t that sound hard to imagine? lol
Anyway... when we ordered, soy sauce, wasabi, and cho-gochujang also came out..ㅋㅋ

Assorted Aged Sashimi (35,000 won)
You may feel like the portion is a little small, but don’t worry. The quality was really, really good.
The cool, fresh aged sashimi kept making us exclaim while eating.
It was really my style. It’s still delicious even looking at it again..

Lobster Tteokbokki (25,000 won)
A dish that was basically impossible not to like. Tteokbokki made with a serious amount of seafood.
The rice cakes were delicious, the fish cakes were delicious~ and we even scraped up every bit of the broth.

Herb Pancake with Dropwort (18,000 won)
Last is the herb pancake with dropwort!
You may think the size is rather intimidating... but it really was huge in person.
A side dish that was perfectly optimized for a glass of makgeolli.

So that was the story of the two of us enjoying a drink of makgeolli together for the first time in a long while!!!
But because I had to keep watching my daughter, who would cry unless she was walking or running around here and there, I couldn’t really set the mood much. ㅠㅠ
I was jealous of the young couples nearby who didn’t have to keep chasing after a baby~ lol
So that was my Park Hyatt Busan review, full of eating and drinking.
Of course I haven’t visited every hotel in Busan — especially not every hotel in Haeundae — but...
Grand Josun Busan feels a bit noisy around the area, and the content is somewhat lacking. Probably because Haeundae is nearby...
Westin Josun Busan has the standout beach–LCT view, but its old-fashioned feel is really strong, and the low ceiling height is such a disappointment. ㅠㅠ
Once I stepped into Park Hyatt Busan, it now looks even better to me than Signiel.
The area around Signiel has a somewhat rustic feel, whereas Park Hyatt Busan is right in Marine City... so it feels more polished and stylish? lol Also, it’s nice for walking, and many credit cards support valet parking, so it’s convenient.
I feel like there are many thoughtful touches that let families have fun, and somewhere along the way, I also started to feel a sincere effort to provide delicious food. A place where a true hotel staycation is possible. I think that’s the charm of Park Hyatt Busan.
Thank you for reading this long post today.
That was another day in the life of Dr. Baek, dentist!!
