Hello.
This is Meat Michelin from Baek Won-jang of Chemi Whitening Rev Dental Clinic.
I feel like I’ve been introducing a lot of Sinsa Station restaurants lately.
Let me introduce a restaurant located in Sinsa Square, famous as a Michelin-aged Hanwoo spot.
WOOGA
It’s also known for having many foreign visitors, including Japanese guests.
The price range is a bit.. brutal, but I still visited for lunch because I wanted to try grilling it and eating it once!

Location: G Floor, Sinsa Square, 652 Gangnam-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
Parking: Use the underground parking lot.
It’s a 5-minute walk from Sinsa Station. A large building called Sinsa Square is right there.
The parking lot is quite spacious, which is a nice advantage because you can visit without worrying too much.

Since the G floor is open to the outside, a pleasant spring breeze comes through better than expected.
The break time is 3:00 PM–5:00 PM. I visited at lunchtime.

Despite the fairly high prices, there were many people, and when I looked closer..
There were lots of foreigners!! There were many Japanese guests, and many Western visitors too. It was really popular~~

If you look at the entrance, you can see that the beef is being aged.
The color is unique. When it’s aged like this.. it’s as if the proteins are magically turning delicious, right? Haha

This is the lunch special for two people.
The advantage is that you can try 100g each of different kinds of meat,
I ordered it after being told it was available, but then they checked and said the meat for the lunch set wasn’t prepared...(!)

So we went back to WOOGA’s original menu.
Aged flower sirloin and aged tenderloin are 58,000 KRW per 100g, and aged brisket is 42,000 KRW per 100g.
The price range is.. quite something, right?
Uraeok was 72,000 KRW for 150g too... If you look at the price per gram, it’s about the same level as Myeongwolgwan before discounts.

When I said I wanted the aged flower sirloin, they brought out a few pieces of meat.
The two pieces on the left are aged flower sirloin, and the one on the right is tenderloin.
You can look at them with your own eyes and choose what to eat. That’s a plus, but..
The downside is that the quantity is fixed.
What we chose was over 400g, so we ended up being forced to eat about three servings.
And there is an additional 10,000 KRW grilling service fee for the staff who grills the meat.
If you look very~~~ carefully at the menu, it’s written in the upper-left corner. I didn’t know at the time because it wasn’t explained. Hahaha

The fact is, everything goes well with it!

Japchae that was still chewy and seemed freshly made - it was tasty.
The gat-kimchi was good too..

Beef radish soup marked as a service item on the receipt. This is delicious. Worth trying.
The salad was fresh, but honestly I didn’t eat it because I was busy with the meat.

What kind of fire you use, right?! They provide plenty of nice charcoal.
That smoky flavor is what makes it delicious, so that’s why you eat it here~~~

It has a savory taste and is pretty good :)
The soybean paste flavor was really quite nice!!!

Anyway, while I was spacing out and waiting for the meat, they served the shrimp meat and flower sirloin.
I like eating it with wasabi, so I piled on plenty of wasabi, and it wasn’t too spicy—instead, it had a slightly sweet note that I really liked.

They also put it on grilled bread, and you can eat it with mustard sauce.. but it wasn’t really my style..

Anyway, they also grill the scallions together, and this is how the plate comes together.
As for three servings, I personally felt quite full.

We did nibble on a little bit, but they finished by displaying it nicely like this for photos!
It tasted good, and it was also a fun meal to look at.
I really enjoyed the meal today too.!!!
Conclusion
It is definitely very delicious, but if two people eat, it’s 300,000 KRW!
Since it was selected for the Michelin Bib Gourmand, I thought, of course it’ll be delicious... and it genuinely was.
I usually don’t say something is this delicious, haha, but this was really worth it.
Personally, as soon as the meat went into my mouth, I thought I didn’t need to go all the way to Myeongwolgwan anymore.
That said, there were a few disappointing points.. like saying the lunch special for two was available and then reversing that.
Well, mistakes can happen.
And the grilling fee that gets charged as if it were obvious! It’s not a universal service fee, so I think they should write it more clearly on the menu.. this isn’t America, haha.
And the fact that you can’t choose the amount of grilled beef you want.
It was delicious, but there were a few things I wanted to grumble about.

Accessibility: ★★★★★
Facilities: ★★★★☆
Parking: Use the underground parking lot.
Considering the price range, it’s more expensive than Uraeok or Myeongwolgwan that I visited before—arguably even above them.
The price is higher than even places like Ddeurak or some pricier beef chain restaurants.
In a way, at a price point worthy of the high-end tier (since for two people it came to nearly 300,000 KRW), the service left a slight sense of disappointment. Haha; still, it was really delicious. Surprisingly so.
