Hello.
I’m Baek, the director of Laminate Rev Dental Clinic at Sinsa Station.
In Part 1, I wrote about being upgraded to a pool villa at W Bali Seminyak!!
At first glance, it doesn’t seem any less impressive than Bulgari Bali, but it felt like it was a little lacking in things like amenities and water quality~
Of course, that makes sense given the pretty big difference in room rates (!)
This time, I’d like to share my breakfast review from the beach area, which was offered because I had Marriott Bonvoy Platinum status.
There is an outdoor dining table where you can eat while looking at the beach, and there is also an indoor restaurant called FIRE.
A review after visiting both places~

If you go down one floor from the lobby, there is a restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast outdoors.
This is the way there, and you can see the beach way off in the distance, right? haha

Just walking over there makes you feel good. hahaha
It was a bit windy, but wow, people from all over the world were eating breakfast with happy faces~

A scenic photo ^^
At W Bali, there is a cool letter “W” in a mix of orange and blue placed near the beach.

Something like this~ haha The space where I had a cocktail at night in Part 1 is right here.

Back to the main point.. so many people were enjoying breakfast at so many tables!!

The menu book looked unusual, but you can order the items shown there!
Personally, Balinese food didn’t really suit my taste.... If I had to mention a tip, the fresh mango that you have to order separately was good.

In this space with a high ceiling, a wide variety of breakfast items were being served.
Of course, Marriott Bonvoy Platinum status and above gets free breakfast for two.

The basics, such as bread, sausage, bacon, and so on.
I was surprised to see bulgogi in the mix.. running into Korean text here too. haha

Maybe because there were many Western guests, the bakery section offered quite a wide variety.

Croissants and pain au chocolat are a good measure of how well bread is made with good ingredients.
Even though it’s Southeast Asia, maybe because the hotel is upscale, the taste was not bad.

For some reason, I tend not to eat things like these ㅠㅠ
These were the kinds of items I thought were just average.

There were some fairly ordinary breads, and quite a few sweet donut types as well.
Looking at it like this, I think there were around 20 kinds of bread..!..

Pumpkin salad and macaroni salad. At least the ingredients were familiar to us.
I didn’t touch them because I don’t really like salad...

Potato salad and tomato salad. Are these in their natural, original form?

For someone like me, who tends to be picky, Balinese-style dishes just felt like something far away ㅠ.ㅠ
And although there were various kinds of salads, I didn’t really approach them.

Stir-fried noodles and fried rice. I only took photos of them..

Beef dishes and chicken curry.
They felt strongly Balinese..

Quite a lot of different items were available, but I felt a little sorry that I seemed to be taking photos only ㅠㅠ
I didn’t open the lids; they were just already open...

These were grilled vegetables and tomatoes. You can tell, right?
I ended up only taking the familiar-looking items like these..

Red watermelon and yellow watermelon.
Still, fruit is definitely familiar.

Papaya, and on the right, mango that you can only eat if you order it!!!!!
When you order mango, they keep bringing it, but they don’t give it easily....
Even when you order it, they seem to deliberately bring it late, and they only gave me half. ㅠㅠ
This was the tastiest thing of all.. I was disappointed...

Japanese food in the refrigerator.
Let’s eat Japanese food in Japan. That’s where it tastes best!!

These looked like Balinese-style rice cakes (?) to me.
They have a subtly soft sweetness when you eat them.

I took a lot of photos.. but the catch is that I didn’t actually eat many things...

In the end, I had a croissant in my hand and was scooping butter with it...ㅋㅋㅋ

Still, the view was great, and the atmosphere felt amazing at the outdoor breakfast restaurant at W Bali!!

The Balinese dishes I ordered separately came out, but personally they didn’t suit my taste, so I couldn’t really eat them...
Let’s also go to FIRE, which is located indoors!

After eating at the outdoor restaurant on the first day, I somehow wanted to try the indoor one too?
If you go down in the direction opposite the outdoor breakfast area, you’ll find the indoor breakfast restaurant called FIRE.
Still, it has a view of the beach~~~

Personally, I liked this space much more.. haha
It was cool, the display was neat, and the menu was almost the same, but I liked this one more....
And maybe it was just my impression, but the proportion of white guests was much higher. (!)

Since the menu was the same anyway, just photos!!
At a glance, it looks like it’s displayed in a way that makes you want to eat it, right?
The same bread somehow seems tastier here too.. as they say, food that looks good tastes good.

This kind of stylish display gives you an appetite, I guess. haha

The fruit corner also looked like it would serve especially tasty fruit..

Even the same dishes looked more delicious because they were presented so neatly.
For some reason, the staff also seemed friendlier, haha. Anyway, that’s how it felt.. haha

A morning that starts, as always, with a croissant!
I prefer bread over rice.. I don’t look like it, but I have a foreign-style palate... oh well.

And the fresh mango and French toast I ordered together!!
When I asked for fresh mango here, they gave me more and brought it faster!!!
It felt like they didn’t really want to give the fresh mango.... Was it expensive?? That’s what I wondered.
The photo on the right is French toast, and it was surprisingly good.
It was definitely tasty... I really want to recommend that you try this.
Anyway, for some reason, the indoor breakfast restaurant felt better than the outdoor one ^^;;
If you have Marriott Bonvoy status, you can naturally enjoy free breakfast at St. Regis, W, and JW Marriott!! W Bali Seminyak was no exception, and it offered a wide variety of breakfast items.
What I’d recommend is this.. try the outdoor breakfast restaurant on the first day, and definitely try the indoor breakfast restaurant too. Even when the same food is served, the atmosphere is different, and the level of neatness is quite different.
I was surprised that the French toast was tastier than I expected, and surprised that they didn’t give fresh mango as easily as I expected (!) at W Bali.
With that, I’ll wrap up this review and come back in the next part with a review of Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve.
Thank you for reading this long post today as well.
That’s all from the daily life of Dr. Baek, a dentist!!
