What are Taylor veneers?
You’ll understand more quickly if you watch the video below~

This patient happened to see the Taylor veneer YouTube video and became interested,
so they contacted us all the way from the United States.
Even for people contacting us from overseas,
it’s easy to inquire comfortably through KakaoTalk,
so after a brief consultation, we scheduled the treatment.
This is the KakaoTalk channel for Armtree Dental Clinic. Feel free to contact us.

Since the patient was living in the United States, they were understandably worried because their stay would be short,
but after coordinating the schedule well, they trusted our clinic and visited.

Part of the questionnaire filled out at the first visit
To understand the patient’s exact needs during the visit,
we first have them fill out the Taylor veneer questionnaire.
This questionnaire was created by me personally,
and it is only available at Armtree Dental Clinic.

After filling out the questionnaire,
we talked a lot,
and also had professional discussions based on the answers~
(Actually, this process is the most important.)
The patient decided on 6 Taylor veneers.
Because of the short stay,
- On the morning of the first visit, we took impressions for the temporary veneers
- In the afternoon, we tried in the temporary veneers and decided on the design
-
- 4 days later, the Taylor veneers were completed
That was the treatment plan and schedule we set.
Treatment process

"The tooth color is too dark,
"I want to hide the gaps between my teeth (black triangles)."
The patient especially wanted the black triangles
covered as tightly as possible.
But if you hide the black triangles (black triangles)
too tightly, the shape of the teeth can end up looking really unattractive.
This is where the strengths of Taylor veneers really shine.
By comparing a more filled-in version and a less filled-in version,
After the patient tries them on personally,
they can decide.
Based on the patient’s requests
(Alignment / color / black triangle improvement),
we created three designs.
First: square teeth with the black triangles filled in tightly
Second: square teeth while showing the black triangles a little less aggressively
Third: naturally shaped black triangles with rounder teeth
There were differences in how much of the black triangles were covered,
and we also varied the tooth shape between square and round forms.

From left to right: 1, 2, 3
We tried on the temporary veneers.
- Design with the black triangles filled in tightly
- A pretty design with a slightly visible black triangle, in a more angular shape
- A version with the teeth slightly rounded from number 2
At the first consultation, the patient said they absolutely wanted the black triangles hidden,
but after trying on the veneers, this is what the patient said.
Veneer 1 -> Since all the black triangles were filled in, the teeth looked too big.
Veneer 2 -> The teeth looked smaller than in version 1 and much more natural, but the overall feel was too angular.
Veneer 3 -> It had the best harmony with the patient’s desired image and face.
After repeatedly putting the temporary veneers in and taking them out, looking in the mirror, taking selfies,
and carefully thinking it over for enough time, the patient decided on veneer 3.
However, they wanted to modify part of the shape in veneer 3.
The patient’s requested modification
I’d like the two front teeth to be a little more square~
This is another place where the strength of Taylor veneers shines.
I can make the changes right there on the spot.
If these had already been the final veneers,
the patient would have had to go back home,
and the veneers would have had to be remade from scratch.
But with "Taylor veneers,"
I can make immediate adjustments right there.
There is an important point here.
The process of modifying tooth shape requires skill.
At other clinics, this step is usually carried out by a "dental technician."
However, a dental technician should never perform any work inside a patient’s mouth.
If a dental technician works inside the patient’s mouth,
it counts as a "violation of the Medical Service Act."
Therefore, this process must be done directly by the doctor.
But dentists are often not very skilled at handling this part.
I am confident that I handle this process better than a dental technician.
Therefore, I can immediately improve on the patient’s requests.
Because of this process, other clinics cannot imitate
Armtree Dental Clinic’s Taylor veneer system.
In addition, because this process requires time, effort, and skill,
I personally only treat 2 patients a day.
That’s because with many patients, it is impossible to fine-tune the details one by one.
Because of this kind of effort,
"Taylor veneers"
are in a different class from other laminate treatments.
In the photos below,
the overall framework of temporary veneer 3 was liked,
but the patient wanted details adjusted;
what I immediately reflected and modified on the spot is the photo on the right.
I applied the one requested change from the patient,
and also reflected the parts that I felt were lacking.

Before / after modifying the temporary veneers
Although the patient didn’t fully realize it,
when I showed the parts that were bothering a professional eye
and corrected them,
it was immediately easy to compare the difference,
and they expressed satisfaction.
The existing teeth seemed aligned,
but in reality they were not.
As a result, the left-side teeth felt as though they were positioned further inward compared to the right,
which made the patient’s lip asymmetry more noticeable when speaking or smiling.
This was not part of the patient’s request,
but it was something I additionally corrected.
If these had already been the final veneers,
the patient would not have been able to distinguish the difference,
would have agreed to the final laminate bonding,
and the treatment would have ended.
There are quite a few cases where a more satisfying treatment exists,
but the patient does not notice it at that moment.
Sometimes they regret it after going home later.
But once they have already agreed to the final bonding,
they cannot request retreatment.
It’s a high-cost treatment....
We shouldn’t leave that kind of regret behind, right?
To prevent that kind of regret,
what I studied and developed over a long period of time is exactly "Taylor veneers."
This kind of system is a treatment that is only possible
at "Armtree Dental Clinic."
It is a treatment method especially well suited for sensitive and demanding patients.
Even the designed temporary veneers are beautiful enough,
but being able to directly correct any shortcomings inside the mouth like this
is the greatest advantage of Taylor veneers.
In the case of ordinary laminate veneers that are made right after impressions are taken,
if you are not satisfied, they must be sent back to the lab for corrections,
which takes time and increases the number of visits.
But
Taylor veneers let you choose the design you want in advance through the temporary veneers,
and even if you do not like the temporary veneers,
the director can make immediate adjustments inside the mouth within 10 to 20 minutes,
allowing the final veneers to be made to the patient’s satisfaction.
Taylor veneers are patient-customized veneers whose treatment method and fabrication process are clearly different from ordinary laminate veneers.
These are the photos after the final Taylor veneers were completed based on the temporary veneers.
Taylor veneers before / after
Because of a long-standing dental complex,
the patient used to always smile in a way that hid the teeth,
but after getting Taylor veneers, you can see that their smile became more confident and much brighter^^
The patient was so satisfied with the Taylor veneers
that they regretted not doing the lower teeth as well haha
They decided to proceed with the lower teeth on their next visit to Korea,
and after we explained the precautions and care instructions, they went home.
A warm design for your own smile
Taylor veneers are not a procedure that creates flashy or exaggerated changes.
Rather, I think of it as a process that helps present one’s originally unnoticed appearance in a slightly neater,
more beautiful way.
At Armtree Dental Clinic, that is the kind of treatment we aim for.
A treatment that values people before technology,
and values how well a person felt understood during the process more than the result itself.
Changing a smile is not simply a change in tooth shape;
it is about recoloring a person’s impression in a new way.
And for that change to be positive, I believe a sincere approach must come first.
Please feel free to contact us.
We will be with you on the journey to finding your own smile.
※ Temporary veneers and final veneers may differ in shape and color due to differences in materials.
