Hello.
Today, I’ll introduce Invisalign Express.
This is a treatment case for rabbit teeth front tooth correction.
Rabbit tooth correction is a representative type of malocclusion that can be treated easily and quickly.
If you would like to get rabbit teeth front teeth correction, please visit an orthodontic clinic and
receive a consultation.
Invisalign can also be used to treat partial front tooth correction for rabbit teeth.
Depending on the difficulty of treatment, Invisalign has three main program categories.
If the malocclusion can be resolved within 7 aligners, it is Invisalign Express.
If the malocclusion can be resolved within 14 aligners, it is Invisalign Lite.
More complex malocclusions that require more than that are treated with Invisalign Comprehensive.

Today, let’s look at and talk about a case of rabbit tooth and protruding front tooth correction treated with Invisalign Express.

24.02
This patient came in this February to treat protruding front teeth.
From the front, it doesn’t look like much of a problem, right?

The two front teeth are protruding like rabbit teeth, and especially the right front tooth is lifted up a lot.

The molar bite was in good condition, so Invisalign Express was recommended.
Invisalign Express comes with only 7 aligners, and one additional remake is available.

The Invisalign treatment plan is called a ClinCheck.
Let’s take a look at this patient’s ClinCheck.
For two purposes in front tooth partial orthodontic treatment—creating a small amount of space for the teeth to align, and reducing the black triangles that inevitably appear after orthodontic treatment in adults—I placed interproximal reduction at 0.2~0.3 m per area between the front teeth.
Another point to note in the ClinCheck is that, in order to maintain a good molar bite, the large molars were set to no movement.
The teeth shown in dark gray are the teeth that do not move at all before and after treatment.
There are quite a few cases where this no-movement setting is needed.
As in this patient’s case, it is also to minimize unnecessary tooth movement in order to achieve good results within 7 stages.
If there is an implant, the implant tooth may also be set to no movement.
Also, when a remaining primary tooth is to be preserved and used for as long as possible due to the absence of a permanent tooth, the primary tooth is set to no movement so that it does not receive orthodontic force.
From March 2024 to April 2024, the patient wore all 7 aligners in the first set over two months.

The front tooth alignment was about 97% complete.
To finish the slightly under-rotated teeth and minor spaces, we moved on to additional production, meaning a remake.
The waiting time for aligners after the remake is one month.
For that month, the patient wore only the final 7th aligner from the previous set while sleeping and took a break.
After wearing all the additionally produced aligners over the next two months until July 2024, the treatment was completed.
Before and after treatment.
The initial visit was 24.02, and treatment ended in 24.07.

24.02~24.07
The treatment was completed without black triangles through a small amount of interproximal reduction.

24.02~24.07
The good bite was maintained.

24.02~24.07
The rabbit teeth found their normal alignment.

You can see the neater smile, right?

Excluding the aligner fabrication period, the actual treatment period was a total of 4 months, with two 2-month phases.
I hope this is helpful for those who want rabbit tooth correction but are hesitant about orthodontic treatment because visible appliances feel burdensome.
