Invisalign Lite Orthodontics for Protruding Front Teeth, Deep Bite, and Crowding

Today, I’d like to introduce Invisalign Lite.

Invisalign Lite is a program used for partial orthodontic treatment focused mainly on the front teeth.

Since the number of appliances is limited to 14, treatment planning needs extra care to achieve good results within those 14 aligners.

Today, I’ll show you a case that completed orthodontic treatment with Invisalign Lite in just 5 months without any remakes.

This patient came to us through a referral from someone who had completed orthodontic treatment at our clinic earlier this year in January.

The upper and lower dental midlines are misaligned, and one lower front tooth is protruding and tipped inward.

The molar occlusion is good.

In cases like this, treating with Invisalign Lite among Invisalign programs gives the patient the best satisfaction in terms of time and cost.

Sometimes there seem to be dental clinics that recommend higher-difficulty programs than Comprehensive even when Invisalign Lite would be sufficient.

When we say, “Lite should be enough,” patients often tell us that in consultations at other clinics they were told they needed Comprehensive.

This is after wearing all 14 aligners in the first set.

The midline is well aligned,

The originally good molar occlusion was well maintained,

and the alignment is also good.

Invisalign Lite allows one remaking opportunity, but because the progress was good, we finished without remaking.

The protruding lower front crooked tooth was intruded to match the height of the surrounding teeth, and in that process, the gum line also naturally became more even.
