Hello,
This is a review of treatment for gapped teeth using Invisalign Lite and no-prep laminate veneers.

24.01~25.01
For a more polished result, this case was completed by first correcting the teeth with Invisalign and then finishing with no-prep laminate veneers.
A foreign patient visited the clinic to receive no-prep laminate veneers.

24.01
The spaces between the front teeth had previously been filled with resin.

24.01
If veneers were placed directly in this state, the front teeth would look too large.
Because dental alignment strictly follows perspective, even if only the color becomes brighter, the front teeth can look larger and more prominent.
For a more polished result, I recommended removing the resin, first closing the gaps with orthodontic treatment, and then proceeding with no-prep laminate veneers.
The spaces were closed with Invisalign Lite orthodontic treatment.
I explained that this would allow the front teeth to achieve a width-to-height ratio of 4:5, and the patient agreed, so we proceeded with laminate veneer treatment after Invisalign Lite orthodontic treatment.

The lower teeth are also quite spaced apart.
At this stage, to proceed with Invisalign Lite, we take an oral scan and order the aligners.

24.01
The waiting time after ordering Invisalign aligners is usually about one and a half months.
You can’t spend that time with the front teeth still gapped, right?
The gaps were temporarily filled with resin.
After one and a half months, in February 2024, the Invisalign aligners were fitted.
Invisalign Lite can be made with up to 14 aligners.
Since the patient lived abroad and came back to the country only for orthodontic treatment, the aligners were changed every 10 days.

24.07
The gap between the front teeth has completely closed,

24.07
and the alignment is also good.

One of the lower front teeth had not rotated enough, so we decided to order one additional aligner.

24.12
This is the appearance after wearing all the additional aligners from August to December 2024.

24.12
Closing the gaps and finishing the alignment were completed.

24.12
Now we prepare for the no-prep laminate veneers.
Although the teeth are straight, the edges of the front teeth have worn down diagonally.

24.12
If you look at the facial photos, you can see a cant in which the occlusal plane appears slightly tilted because of the worn front teeth.
This was planned to be covered with no-prep laminate veneers.
This is the design data actually sent to the lab.
Due to the overseas patient’s schedule, the procedure was carried out without a fitting appointment.
This is how it looked immediately after bonding in January 2025.

25.01
The patient wanted the whitest shade, so we proceeded accordingly.

25.01
Six units were made from canine to canine

25.01
After the no-prep laminate veneers were bonded, the cant is no longer visible.

This is the appearance after the retainer was attached.
The thickness of the no-prep laminate veneers is so thin that the difference in thickness from the natural teeth is hardly noticeable.
