Hello.
This is Apgujeong Orthodontic Clinic.
Today, I’d like to introduce a simple Invisalign Lite treatment case that was straightforward in the treatment plan, with no miniscrews or elastics, but produced good results.
The treatment period was 8 months.

24.02~24.10
This patient came in for orthodontic treatment due to protrusion of the front teeth.

24.02
You can see that the left and right front teeth are at different heights.

24.02
The molar bite is good.
When the molar bite on both sides is Class I, as in this case, it is an ideal indication for Invisalign Lite.

24.02
The goal was to close the gaps between the front teeth and, with a bit of interproximal reduction, also improve the protrusive appearance to some extent.
I recommended Invisalign Lite, ordered the appliances in February, and started wearing the first set in March.

24.06
This is how it looked after wearing all 14 aligners in the first set.

24.06
Everything was good, but in order to improve the details a bit more, we proceeded with additional aligners and finished after wearing them for another 3 months from July to October.

24.10

24.02~24.10

24.02~24.10
The angle of the protruding front teeth has improved.

24.02~24.10
The space has also been neatly closed, and the alignment looks good.

24.02~24.10
When moving the front teeth backward, they were not simply moved straight back; they were intruded while being moved upward, so the amount of gum exposure was also slightly reduced.

24.02~24.10
Front teeth that fall in a straight line give a refined impression.
This concludes the introduction to the changes over 8 months.
Originally, the protruding front teeth caused lip incompetence, but as the front teeth moved backward, the lips could close comfortably.
Many people put off orthodontic treatment because they think treatment for protruding teeth will take a long time.
Please get an orthodontic diagnosis and consultation first.
It may end sooner than you expect.
Thank you for reading.
