Hello,
This is Apgujeong Orthodontic Clinic.
Many people get teeth whitening treatment before their wedding.
However, there do not seem to be many people who look into orthodontic treatment.
If you have just 6 months, you can at least align the visible front teeth and make them look neat.

This was featured in the April issue of Wedding H.
Depending on the level of difficulty, front tooth partial orthodontic treatment can be completed in as little as 3 months, and even in more difficult cases, it is finished within 6 months.
If your wedding venue is already booked, we recommend getting an orthodontic consultation at the same time.

Today, I will show you how front tooth partial orthodontic treatment was used in a complex case with an anterior crossbite and other issues.
Last February, a bride-to-be visited us for front tooth partial orthodontic treatment.

The lateral incisor is crowded and in an anterior crossbite, where it bites in reverse against the lower teeth.

On the other side, the premolar indicated by the blue arrow is also protruding from the alignment, so it is in an anterior crossbite with the upper teeth.

Crooked front teeth and crowded premolars made this a difficult case to resolve with front tooth partial orthodontic treatment alone.
There were 6 months left until the wedding, so treatment was started quickly.
For the upper teeth, we recommended a lingual 2D appliance, which is not visible, and for the lower teeth, an MTA appliance to align even the crowded premolars.
The upper appliance was attached on the lingual side, so it would not be visible even during the mid-therapy studio shoot.
This is what it looked like after 5 months of treatment.

The item attached to the canine is a button for rubber bands.
Rubber bands were worn for the final month to balance the width between the upper and lower canines.

This is the 2D appliance used for partial lingual orthodontic treatment.
Because it is attached on the back, it does not show throughout the orthodontic period.

24.07
To bring the crowded premolar into its proper position, we attached MTA appliances to 9 lower teeth, including the front teeth, and aligned them.
After 2 months of finishing adjustments, treatment was completed 6 months after it began.

The crowded tooth biting in reverse was corrected,

and the premolars were aligned.

Our goal is to achieve an effect similar to full orthodontic treatment.
Front tooth partial orthodontic treatment may seem simple and have a short treatment period, but it is not easy to achieve results comparable to full orthodontic treatment.

24.02~24.08
The front teeth, which had looked like they had dropped down and resembled rabbit teeth, were brought to the correct height, and the inclination was improved by correcting the tooth axis.

24.02~24.08
The front tooth that had been out of position was also brought back into place.
Of course, not everyone can achieve a result like this with front tooth partial orthodontic treatment alone.
