I don’t go to Seongsu that often, but whenever I do, I always end up going to Munhwa Sikdang.
I first went there because a friend recommended it, and the atmosphere is so nice and the food is so delicious that it’s a place I like to visit whenever I think of it.

I had always only visited at night, but this time I went during the day for the first time.
Since I went a little earlier, there weren’t many people.
There had always been a wait whenever I came, but I think the COVID issue played a part as well.
I heard that Seongsu Munhwa Sikdang has a location not only in Seongsu, but also near Sungshin Women’s University!

Seongsu Munhwa Sikdang is also famous for its great atmosphere, and the song selection here is exactly my style.

One of the pasta dishes I always get at Seongsu restaurant Munhwa Sikdang is Ssamhap!
It’s a signature menu item at Munhwa Sikdang, and you can enjoy a combination of beef brisket, pasta, and salad.
The sauce is similar to bulgogi seasoning, so it’s a very Korean-style pasta that most people can enjoy.
If you mix the salad and beef brisket well and eat it together, it’s really good — and there’s a huge amount of meat too!!!

The second menu item at Munhwa Sikdang is Emperor Rib Cap Provence.
It seems like rib cap and vegetables are simmered in a balsamic sauce, and while the meat is good, the zucchini, mushrooms, and eggplant are really, really delicious.
I found myself reaching for the vegetables more than the meat!!!
The tangy sauce, meat, and vegetables go together so well, and even the ricotta cheese on top of the chopped steak made this Seongsu restaurant so delicious.

The first time I tried sujebi at Seongsu Munhwa Sikdang, I thought, since the menu is called sujebi, why is there sujebi here,,?
But it turned out to be a dish with Korean-style potato sujebi and Italian-style sujebi gnocchi.
It was my first time trying gnocchi, and it was chewy yet soft,
and it really suited my taste..!
There were lots of vegetables and bacon here too,
so it was great to put on bread and eat.

From beef brisket pasta to gnocchi to chopped steak,
I had such a delicious meal at this Seongsu restaurant.
As expected, Munhwa Sikdang is a place you can trust.
The food comes out really quickly too,
and the kindness is a bonus! I ate well :D
