- Ten rules for preventing fatigue
The ordinary fatigue symptoms we experience in daily life can be sufficiently prevented by adjusting our lifestyle habits. So, what are some ways to prevent fatigue symptoms? Please try to make the following 10 items part of your daily routine so that you can get away from fatigue.
① Exercise regularly. - 3 to 4 times a week, at least 30 minutes each time
② Do not smoke.
③ Avoid drinking alcohol whenever possible.
④ Reduce caffeine intake (coffee, etc.).
⑤ Maintain an appropriate body weight.
⑥ Get enough sleep. - 6 to 8 hours of sleep per day
⑦ Eat a nutritionally balanced diet.
- Reduce intake of fats and sugar.
- Avoid overeating.
- Get enough vitamins and minerals.
⑧ Get enough rest by managing your workload and planning your time efficiently.
- Do the most important tasks in the morning, when you are relatively energetic.
- It is okay even if you do not finish everything you have scheduled for the day.
⑨ Learn positive ways to cope with stress.
- Relaxation exercises that are easy to do every day
- Imagery training for positive experiences
- Relaxed breathing, etc.
- When things are hard, make it a habit to talk with friends and family and ask for help.
⑩ Avoid the use of habitual drugs.
- When you must see a doctor
If the fatigue symptoms you are currently experiencing have the following characteristics, they are more likely not simple fatigue caused by poor lifestyle habits. You must see a doctor and identify the underlying disease.
· Fatigue that appears suddenly and is so severe from the beginning that it affects daily life
· Fatigue that was not severe at first but gradually becomes worse over time
· Fatigue that lasts for more than one month even if it is not severe
· Fatigue accompanied by various other symptoms, such as a slight fever, muscle pain, joint pain, headache, feeling mentally foggy, reduced memory or concentration, not feeling refreshed at all after waking up in the morning, feeling completely drained the next day even after doing your usual activities, weight loss, etc.
