The restaurant I’m introducing today is Onigiri Wa Gyudon, which is also great for dining alone.
Onigiri Wa Gyudon is a Japanese food chain that mainly serves handmade triangular rice balls, rice balls, and gyudon.
Maybe that’s why the seating and layout are well suited for solo diners.
These days, there are many restaurants with interiors that make solo dining easy, but in the past that wasn’t the case, so it often felt awkward to go in alone for lunch or dinner.
Back then, this was probably the place I usually went to for lunch near Apgujeong Station.
It had been a while since my last visit, so it brought back memories.

When I went to Onigiri Wa Gyudon for lunch near Apgujeong Station, the prices seemed fairly reasonable, so I think I’ll be coming back often.
It felt easy to grab lunch there without 부담.
I visited Onigiri Wa Gyudon, and since it would have felt a bit disappointing not to eat an onigiri, I ordered one as an extra.
As expected, it was packed full inside, so it couldn’t possibly be bad—an onigiri that was delicious!!
It went very well with the spicy seafood champon.

For lunch near Apgujeong Station, the wind is still cold these days!!
I wanted something with broth and something spicy, so I ordered spicy seafood champon.
Since Onigiri Wa Gyudon specializes in Japanese food, the udon noodles were springy and delicious as expected.
The udon noodles really are different!!

Gyudon is probably one of those dishes that tastes decent no matter where you eat it.
But you know that gyudon can still be either good or not so good, right!?
Since it’s a gyudon specialty chain, I ordered with confidence, and as expected, I was able to enjoy tender meat.
There are often times when the meat is so tough that you end up disappointed.
And then there’s the egg yolk and chopped green onions!!
Whether these are included or not changes the taste of gyudon, and Onigiri Wa Gyudon, which tops it with egg yolk and green onions for 7,500 won, is probably popular for lunch near Apgujeong Station for a reason.

So today, I visited Onigiri Wa Gyudon for a tasty lunch near Apgujeong Station again.
These days, a lot of people are traveling to Japan, so replacing that with Japanese food while traveling doesn’t seem bad at all.
Of course, it might also be because the food tastes good.
Have a happy rest of your day.
