Hello, this is Lifton Dermatology.
During lifting consultations, many people ask whether it is better to undergo Ulthera and Sofwave together.
It is a question that comes from wanting better results all at once, but in fact, it is a combination that first requires understanding why they are done together.
The key to this combination is not making the effect stronger.
It is closer to setting the direction so that the lifting results do not conflict with each other.
That is why Sinsa SofSera is not a combination that is recommended to everyone by default.
Ulthera is a procedure that first organizes the structure.

Ulthera is less a procedure that tightens the skin and more a lifting treatment that repositions downward-shifted structures upward.
In cases where the jawline has collapsed and the center of the cheeks has shifted downward, making the face look heavy, touching only the skin surface does not easily create a change in impression.
In such cases, a process to correct the structure first is needed.

Sofwave helps the skin accept that change

Sofwave is not a procedure that lifts structure.
It plays a role in inducing collagen reformation by giving uniform heat stimulation to the dermal layer, and in rebuilding the elasticity and recovery needed for the skin to accept and maintain the change.
When the line has risen after Ulthera but the skin looks rough or still feels somewhat unrefined, it is because dermal responsiveness has decreased.
That is why the combination called Sinsa SofSera has meaning.
Sinsa SofSera is not simply a bundle of two procedures.
It is a method that first organizes the position of the structure with Ulthera and then stabilizes the result in the skin with Sofwave.

It does not repeatedly stimulate the same layer, nor does it duplicate the same effect.
For faces where structural sagging and reduced skin elasticity are progressing together, this is why the result can feel more organized than with a single procedure.
Sinsa SofSera is not necessary for everyone

At Lifton Dermatology, we do not recommend Sinsa SofSera as a default package.
If the skin is thick enough or structural sagging is not yet significant,
Ulthera alone or Sofwave alone may often be more appropriate.
The important thing is not the combination itself, but what role is needed for the face right now.
How are Ultherapy and SofSera different?

Sometimes people think Ultherapy and Thermage together, called Ulthermage, and SofSera are the same type of combination.
But the purpose of the two combinations is different.
Ulthermage is closer to a combination that adds lifting power to make the change more definite,
whereas Sinsa SofSera is focused on organizing the result so that the already-lifted structure looks natural in the skin.

So rather than choosing the two combinations by the same standard, it is necessary to think in different directions depending on the current condition of the face.
Sinsa SofSera is a choice for 'completeness' rather than 'intensity'

In lifting, what matters is not how much was done, but where and in what order it acted.
Sinsa SofSera is not a combination for creating a strong change, but a choice for organizing the direction of the result.

If you are reading this after searching for Sinsa Sofwave or Sinsa Ulthera,
it may be worth checking whether what your face currently needs is a step to lift it more,
or a step to organize the already-lifted structure in the skin.
Lifton Dermatology uses Sofwave and Ulthera not as a trend, but from the perspective of their roles and stages.
Going forward, based on this standard, we will clearly distinguish the role of each procedure and the right time to apply it, and answer our patients with lifting results that stay consistent.
Thank you.
