Although it varies from person to person, bruising usually fades almost completely in about 3 weeks, and major swelling goes down in about 1 to 1.5 months. So if you have an important event, it is best to avoid having surgery at least 2 to 3 weeks beforehand.
Bio-bond
The second is bio-bond. Bio-bond is a phenomenon in which the surgical area becomes firm and lumpy; it is not an official medical term, but the affected area may look uneven and may be noticeable when moving. It usually appears from 2 to 3 weeks after surgery and often disappears after one to two months. In particular, if the area is one that affects posing, such as the arms or abdomen, it is better to avoid this period when scheduling a photo shoot.
Compression Garment Wear
At a liposuction clinic, after liposuction, wearing a compression garment is more comfortable in winter or fall. In summer, sweat can build up in fold areas such as the knees, elbows, and armpits, making skin troubles more likely. That does not mean you cannot have it done in summer, but seasonally, it is a bit more recommended to do it when the weather is cooler.
When Results Appear
Lastly, this is the timing when the effects of liposuction appear at a liposuction clinic. Rather than immediately after surgery, the line usually stabilizes after 1 to 2 months, and the changes become clearly visible. So if you want to wear short sleeves or a swimsuit in summer, it is better to plan the surgery in advance.
