[Raon News Reporter Ahn Kwang-il] AB Plastic Surgery announced on the 12th that it has been appointed as an educational partner hospital of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Bundang Seoul National University Hospital.

Through this appointment as an educational partner hospital, the two hospitals have promised to cooperate with each other with the goal of carrying out a range of activities, including △ advancing the medical cooperation system △ cooperation in joint projects △ dispatching fellows and residents

△ jointly carrying out clinical and research projects △ education and training for medical personnel.

In particular, AB Plastic Surgery Director Ahn Seung-hyun, Director Kim Joo-yeon, and Director Bae In-ho were each granted the position of cooperative clinical faculty by Bundang Seoul National University Hospital in their respective specialties, including facial contouring, rhinoplasty, and eye surgery.

With this, the two hospitals plan to jointly build a cooperative system spanning education, research, and treatment.

Chief Director Ahn Seung-hyun said, “We will devote ourselves to nurturing the next generation and advancing academia by passing on the skills and know-how in plastic surgery accumulated through years of clinical experience,” adding, “In particular, I hope that the active joint research between the two hospitals will lead the development of the plastic surgery field and become a momentum for Korea’s medical standards to far exceed global benchmarks.”

Meanwhile, AB Plastic Surgery is not limited to general plastic surgery and covers the entire field of plastic surgery, including difficult revision surgeries and reconstructive surgeries, and all of its medical staff are board-certified specialists.

In addition, an anesthesiology and pain medicine specialist is on site to manage the entire surgical process in real time, before, during, and after surgery.
