How can I protect my body from MERS?
- The most important thing is not to go to crowded places.
Subways and buses are very crowded places, so wear a mask and be careful.
Please, if possible, open the windows in taxis or buses and ventilate the air.
Do not go to enclosed places.
What if you sing with the same microphone as someone who has a cold at a karaoke room...??
- If someone coughs in the elevator, do not breathe and get off immediately.
If you cough, please cover it with a handkerchief and follow proper coughing manners.
Using the stairs rather than the elevator is also better for your health.
- Wear a mask.
Change masks often and wear a new one.
If you want to wear a used mask again, spray it with alcohol and let it dry well before using it.
Wear it tightly so there are no gaps at the top or bottom.
- Wipe the inside of your nose often, and applying antibiotic ointments such as Fucidin or Bacitracin inside the nose is also good for managing bacteria in the nose.
If you apply ointment inside the nostrils, bacteria or viruses can stick to the ointment, which helps block them from entering to some extent.
Some of you may remember the "sticky fly trap" that was once used to catch flies...
Wash your face often and also wipe the inside of your nose often.
Normally, do not pick your nose. Clean the inside of your nose only when washing your face.
Picking your nose is a major cause of spreading colds or MERS.
- Do not rub your eyes.
Germs from your hands can easily spread to the mucous membranes of your eyes.
You should assume that most germs or viruses are on your hands.
These days is also a time when eye infections spread easily.
- Wash your hands often.
Needless to say, this is important!!
If you touch something someone else has touched, you must wash your hands once.
Also disinfect door handles and keyboards often with an alcohol spray.
- Do not weaken your immune system.
Do not make your body tired and get enough sleep.
Taking vitamin C or B-complex vitamin C daily, or going to a hospital for placenta injections, is also recommended.
Since MERS is also a virus, it is good to strengthen your immunity.
Let’s all unite and stop the spread of MERS.
