What Was the Reason the Ogana Cell Directors Gathered on an Ordinary Sunday?



Hello.



I am Ogana, a board-certified dermatologist with 16 years of experience.











On a Sunday when everyone was resting,

why did I, Ogana, and the directors from the Dongdaemun branch

all gather together?









It was the day we were

preparing to sign for Ogana Cell Dermatology's

third branch

and were looking over an important candidate site.







Looking back at the video from that time after a long while,

it brings back many memories.





I’d like to revisit that day with you all

and also talk about Ogana’s philosophy.





Ogana’s weekend routine! Mental rest is important too^^





Before touring the third-branch site,

I had a schedule for one of my hobbies and for mental healing.





Weekends are for resting,

but for me, more than simple rest,

mental healing is more important.







When you keep working,

more often than not it is mentally exhausting

rather than physically tiring.





Even on weekends, I go to bed around midnight,

wake up around 6:00 to 6:30 a.m.,

start the day on a steady schedule,

and try to restore balance through exercise

on my days off.







In particular, golf is one of the exercises

that helps me a great deal.





It is more than just exercise;

it is also time to organize my thoughts.









In the past, I used to work almost nonstop

even on weekends, but since I started golfing,

I have been gradually finding that balance.







Today, too, after a long time, I charged up mentally

by playing a round at Bears Best Golf Club in Cheongna

with acquaintances.





We looked over the candidate site for the third branch





After finishing golf,

after taking a short break,

we began the schedule of closely looking over

the candidate site for the third branch.





The third branch was planned to be on the 11th floor

near Seokchon Lake.





The view from the high floor was truly impressive.







With the sunlight pouring in through the floor-to-ceiling windows,

the lake view sparkled~

But we couldn’t make a decision based on the view alone.





We had to carefully check whether customers could visit comfortably,

whether the flow was efficient,

and how well it fit with the surrounding business district.









So we went down to the basement level,

checked the traffic flow,

and also confirmed the parking space and accessibility.







Since we had to consider many factors

so that customers could visit easily,

it was necessary to go through everything carefully.





That’s how we looked into the candidate site for Ogana Cell’s third branch in Jamsil,

with its fantastic view,





after the interior work

and construction were completed,





it was completed into a comfortable space like this!



What I have felt while working as a dermatologist





As the saying goes, you need to eat before climbing Mount Geumgang,

after looking over the candidate site,

I had a meal with the directors

and naturally ended up sharing

a variety of stories.





Though, in the end, it was about the hospital and treatment^^;;



After working as a dermatologist for more than ten years,

I’ve realized that

skin treatment is not judged simply by technical skill alone.







Of course, the quality of care is important,

but communication with patients, the clinic environment,

and the kindness of the staff

must all come together in harmony.







At the beginning, when I didn’t know much,

I thought, “If the skill is good, that should be enough.”

But as experience accumulated,

I came to realize how important those external factors are as well.





Beyond improving the skin,

we strive to help patients feel comfort and trust at the clinic.







Of course, treatment results are important,

but providing something beyond that

is the direction we pursue.





Also, while running a dermatology clinic,

I constantly think about

what my own strength is that sets me apart from others.





These days, medical services also increasingly need differentiation,

so rather than simply providing treatment,

we keep thinking about how to become a place

that patients can trust and choose.





Even in such a busy daily life,

our Ogana Cell directors

keep thinking, and thinking again,

to provide service beyond treatment.
