Ferrari Made an SUV? (feat. Purosangue)

This is Ogana from Ogana, once again today.

I often say that my passion for cars

is not as strong as it used to be.

But recently,

a car came along that made my heart race.

Ferrari SUV

Purosangue

A brand that seemed like it would never make an SUV

Their first SUV.

Today, this special vehicle

I’d like to talk about the test drive review.

A new Ferrari evolved into an SUV

Purosangue

In Italian, it means “purebred.”

"We do not make cars."

"We are a racing team."

For a brand with this philosophy to make an SUV

felt like a symbol of accepting the changes of the times.

A design shaped like a GT coupe

After driving it myself, it didn’t feel like an SUV

but rather closer to a slightly taller sports car.

12-cylinder naturally aspirated engine and 0–100 km/h in 3.3 seconds.

It feels heavy, but the response is sharp,

and although it is heavy, it feels surprisingly light when driving.

What changed from previous Ferraris

Driving the Purosangue

made me feel unfamiliar with it.

The reason is that

older Ferraris were cars made only for the driver,

so everything was controlled from the steering wheel,

and everything else was unnecessary.

But this time, it was different.

There is now a gauge cluster for the passenger seat too,

and wireless charging and electronic features have been added.

There used to be no charging port at all,

but now there are many convenience features.

But as time passed, I came to realize something.

The discomfort has been reduced, but the emotion remains.

The rough instinct has gained a sense of ease.

That was the new Ferrari shown by the Purosangue.

Lastly, what I felt after driving the Purosangue.

Honestly, it is expensive and the fuel economy is not good.

But the more you drive it, the more you feel it.

How sincerely this brand makes its cars.

The exterior is beautiful, and the driving feel is firm,

luxurious but not rough.

That balance is astonishing.

Every time I get behind the wheel,

I think, “This is why it’s Ferrari.”

In conclusion,

the Purosangue is an SUV that carries more than 90% of sports car DNA.

Just because it is an SUV

does not mean it is not Ferrari-like.

So, I briefly shared my review of the Purosangue.

Since there are only a few of these cars in Korea,

it feels even more special.

Personally, I’m very satisfied with it

and I think it will be a good companion going forward.
