Hello,
This is Ogana from Ogana, as always.

Half of the year has already passed,
and we are now at the end of July.
Time really does fly.
A few days ago, I had dinner with the directors of the Ogana Cell clinics for the first time in a while.
It was a gathering to welcome the directors who had recently joined us
and to support those preparing for new beginnings at the Seongsu and Myeongdong branches.

So this time,
we spent time together with the directors at Migaki in Cheongdam.
A place I often visit for important occasions

Migaki
is a restaurant specializing in kaiseki cuisine,
led by Chef Gyudeok Choi,
who recently appeared on Black and White Chef 2.
It is an impressive restaurant where kaiseki cuisine is thoughtfully presented around seasonal ingredients,
and

because it is also close to the hospital,
I often visit when I have an important meeting or am hosting special guests.
Menus that change with the seasons
I visit Migaki from time to time,
and every time I come,
what I like most is that the course menu changes little by little.

Since the menu changes around ingredients that suit each season,
even after visiting several times,
it always feels like having a new meal.

That day,
the course flowed naturally from Jeju Chodang corn tofu
to uni somen, hamo sukiyaki, and wagyu.
Uni somen, in particular, is one of the dishes I look forward to whenever I visit Migaki.^^

Hassun dish
Rather than focusing on elaborate plating,
the restaurant’s style brings out the natural flavors of the ingredients,
so we were able to enjoy the meal comfortably to the very end.
There is a reason good restaurants stand out

Since it was our first gathering in a while,
I also brought along a few bottles of wine that I usually enjoy.
With delicious food and wine,
we chatted comfortably, and the time passed incredibly quickly.
In my view, a good restaurant
is not simply a place where the food tastes good.
It is a place that makes even the time spent together
remain memorable for a long time.
I think Migaki is that kind of place.
In a calm atmosphere, seasonal dishes
flowed naturally to the table one after another,
and I also appreciated the comfortable service
that did not interrupt the flow of our conversation.

Thanks to that,
we had a wonderful, relaxed time with the directors,
talking about everything from the hospital to our everyday lives.
Please take good care of your health during this summer’s heat and monsoon season.
Next time, I am hoping to arrange another directors’ gathering
around autumn, when the weather becomes cooler.
I will be back with another update then.
Thank you for reading this long post.
