The ‘One-Day System’ at Minish Dental Hospital was introduced 17 years ago, and if you include its predecessor, Todayan Dental Clinic, it has a history of 18 years.
Many people think that one-day treatment is a system that simply emphasizes speed, but accuracy and precision are more important than anything else. The key is not merely shortening the time, but providing precise treatment optimized for each individual patient.
Many office workers have to take a half-day or a full day off to receive dental treatment. The ‘One-Day System’ was created after much consideration of this issue. To help busy modern people use their time more efficiently while still receiving the best treatment, Minish Dental Hospital built a system that achieves both speed and precision.
Medicine is a battleground of cutting-edge technology...
Why craftmanship in dentistry?
Some dental clinics emphasize that they ‘carefully make teeth stitch by stitch’ or highlight ‘craftsmanship.’ But in an era when cutting-edge technology is applied across all areas of medicine, why do only some dental clinics insist on such traditional methods?
Could it be because they want to hide the fact that they use external dental labs?
Or is it to cover the reality that they have not introduced advanced equipment capable of completing treatment in one day?
If treatment is carried out only through ‘care’ without being backed by precise technology, can it really be the best choice for the patient?
Would making 30 to 40 restorations a day not be an admission of insufficient skill, manpower, or limitations in production capacity?
Minish fabricates precise restorations so that there is no unnecessary removal of tooth structure, no matter the shape of the tooth damage. Every contour of the tooth is reproduced.
In dentistry, ‘craftsmanship’ does not mean unnecessarily making treatment harder for patients or limiting the number of restorations. True craftsmanship is precise treatment that ultimately prevents problems from occurring. Rather than emphasizing how much effort was put into the process, what matters is enabling patients to receive more comfortable and effective treatment.
The One-Day System at Minish Dental Hospital began with the question, “How can we make treatment more comfortable for patients?” It is an innovative system that combines both speed and precision, not merely fast treatment.
In this article, we will take a closer look at how the One-Day System at Minish Dental Hospital makes fast yet precise treatment possible.
Precise One-Day System
- Cutting-edge equipment
Minish Dental Hospital actively introduces state-of-the-art equipment to fabricate precise restorations. It currently operates 9 milling machines, 6 intraoral scanners, and 5 3D printers, creating an optimal environment for more accurately reproducing a patient’s oral cavity.

The high-performance intraoral scanners used at Minish Dental Hospital can precisely scan even difficult areas such as interproximal surfaces, and they are fast and efficient enough to complete a full upper-and-lower jaw scan in under 3 minutes.
By contrast, the traditional method of taking tooth impressions repeatedly causes contraction and expansion during the restoration process, making it difficult to maintain precision. As a result, there can be limitations in achieving perfect marginal sealing (the fit between the restoration and the tooth boundary).

Minish Dental Hospital designs dental restorations based on 3D-scanned oral data.

It also outputs the oral data with a 3D printer to create a laboratory model that precisely reproduces the patient’s oral cavity. Through this, the initially fabricated restoration is finely adjusted on a model that matches the actual oral environment, allowing for precise finishing work.
This process ensures optimal fit and helps create restorations that match the patient’s teeth perfectly.

Precise One-Day System
- Owns a VITA officially certified dental laboratory
Minish Dental Hospital operates a 14-story standalone building of 800 pyeong, and on the 6th floor is the largest in-hospital dental laboratory in Korea. About 20 researchers with an average of more than 15 years of experience work there, all highly skilled specialists dedicated to Minish Block prosthetics.
They possess know-how from producing more than 160,000 Minish restorations and perform advanced tasks such as adjusting restorations to be thinner or thicker depending on the various curves and forms of teeth. Through this, they help restore the patient’s tooth structure and function in the most natural and precise way.
VITA-certified lab signboard
The precision processing technology of Minish Dental Hospital is recognized worldwide. To give you an idea of how high the standard is, it was designated as the first VITA-certified dental laboratory in Asia by VITA, a global dental materials company with more than 100 years of history. VITA is a prestigious company that supplies dental materials to 150 countries around the world, and this is evidence that Minish Dental Hospital’s technology is at the very highest level by global standards.
There is an interesting story behind this. In 2017, when VITA Chairman Routher visited the Minish dental laboratory, he personally confirmed the laboratory’s precision processing technology and exclaimed, “It is unbelievable that such precise processing is possible.”
This led to the Minish dental laboratory being designated as a VITA-certified laboratory, and further enabled it to secure exclusive production rights for Minish Block.
The non-stop collaboration system between the laboratory and the medical staff completes the ‘Precise One-Day System’
The precise one-day system at Minish Dental Hospital is not created by advanced equipment alone. The core lies in the close collaboration system between the laboratory and the medical staff.
The Minish dental laboratory is located on the 6th floor inside the hospital, while the treatment rooms are on the 8th to 10th floors. Thanks to this, communication between the medical staff and the laboratory researchers is smooth, and if adjustments are needed during same-day placement, they can be corrected immediately.
This is impossible in hospitals that use external dental laboratories. Because the laboratory is inside the hospital, the medical staff and researchers can meet directly, exchange opinions, and provide immediate feedback. With no physical distance constraint, patient-specific Minish Block restorations can be made with greater precision.
This non-stop collaboration system is an important factor that completes Minish Dental Hospital’s precise one-day system.
The ‘Precise One-Day System’ that even dentists are surprised by
The screen shows Director Kim Hyun-ju of Busan Reset Dental Clinic receiving One-Day Minish. This process is being transmitted live to the educators.
Minish Dental Hospital has the ‘Minish Academy,’ which has produced 235 graduate dentists. To perform Minish, dentists also need to receive systematic training and acquire specialized know-how. In this process, trainees directly observe and learn about Minish’s precise one-day system.
In particular, in the ‘One-Day Live’ course held on the last day of the academy, dentists can actually watch the procedure of ‘One-Day Minish’ and learn from it. The process of an actual dentist becoming the patient and receiving the Minish procedure is broadcast live to the training room, allowing them to experience the entire procedure.
It is conducted in the same way as for ordinary patients,
✔ In the morning, tooth prep (shaping), intraoral scanning, and fabrication of Minish Block restorations are performed
✔ In the afternoon, Minish bonding and fit checks are carried out.
Through this process, trainees directly experience how the precise one-day system using Minish Block is implemented, and how it enables patients to receive treatment that is both fast and accurate.
Rather than flashy ‘craftsmanship,’ isn’t Minish, a tooth restoration solution that combines advanced equipment, precision processing technology recognized by global companies, and the trust of numerous dentists, the more reliable choice?
Minish Dental Hospital provides world-class, cutting-edge treatment.
With the best technology and systems, it delivers the most precise and effective care for patients.
Thank you.
