"I received a total of 24 Minish restorations, from my front teeth to my molars."
Hello, I’m Lee Jeong-eun, director of Minish Dental Hospital.
It has already been 3 years for my front teeth and about 6 years for my molars since I got Minish.

Most of the time, I go about my day forgetting that I had Minish done.
Then whenever patients ask, "Did you get it done yourself, Director?" I’m reminded with an, "Oh, right!"
At times like that, rather than giving a long explanation, I just open my mouth and show them.
“Yes! These are my teeth after Minish.”
Just the fact that I, as a doctor, experienced Minish myself and am still truly satisfied and using it well seems to reassure patients and build trust.
Today, I’d like to share the Minish review from my own experience as a patient.

Director Lee Sang-gil, my Minish primary dentist and my husband. I brought this photo because he’s smiling proudly at a thank-you dinner invitation from Chairman Chung Yong-jin.
The reason I first decided to get Minish was my husband.
My primary dentist, Director Lee Sang-gil, looked at me and said, “It seems like your front teeth are tilting.”
I couldn’t really tell even though I looked in the mirror every day, but it seems my dentist husband, who lives with me, could notice even subtle changes.

This is before and after Minish on my molars.
I had a long-standing habit of grinding my teeth and clenching them tightly.
In addition, because of the characteristics of my bite, I also had what is called a "butterfly tooth" and some malocclusion in the molar area.
As a result, my molars wore down so badly that I could hear my teeth grinding against each other every time I ate.
As the molars gradually wore away, my bite collapsed, and that force was transferred to my front teeth, causing them to begin tilting as if they were falling forward.
So I decided to restore my molars and received a total of 4 Minish restorations on my molars.
- Molars with severe wear
- Re-treatment of molars where old inlays had broken
- Molars with secondary cavities after resin treatment
After getting Minish on my molars, I also proceeded with Minish on my front teeth: 8 on the upper jaw and 10 on the lower jaw, for a total of 18.
As a result, the function of my teeth became stable, and aesthetically they became much more natural.
Now my bite feels comfortable, and I smile with confidence.

"But if Minish is thin, isn’t it easy to break?"
That’s the question patients ask most often.
I don’t worry about that part.
Because it has already been 6 years since I had Minish on my molars, and there hasn’t been a single breakage even on molars that receive more than three times the force of front teeth.
You could say I conducted a clinical trial on my own body.

Various forms of Minish
Depending on the condition of the tooth, Minish is processed to be as thin as 0.1 mm.
So if you look at Minish before it is bonded, it may seem fragile.
But once it is bonded to the tooth, it becomes a single unit, and when you look at the overall thickness, it becomes sufficiently thick.

Minish bonding
Let’s use paper as an example.
One sheet tears easily.
But what if 100 sheets of paper are firmly bonded together with adhesive?
They become one thick block and do not tear easily.
Minish works on a similar principle.
Because it chemically bonds with the tooth and restores thickness like the original tooth, it does not break easily.
How long can my teeth last after getting Minish?
I usually tell patients that the maximum quality assurance period is 15 years.
But after actually getting Minish myself and living with it, I started to think that depending on the condition of the teeth, lifestyle habits, and how they are maintained, it may last much longer.

When I talked about it with Director Kang Jeong-ho, who developed Minish, he said that once you get Minish, you can feel it.
So through my own experience, I became convinced.
"I’ll use it for at least 20 years."
It has already been 6 years since I had Minish on my molars, which take much greater force than the front teeth, and I’m still using them perfectly well.
If anything, I think the front teeth will last even longer.
Some teeth may be healthy enough to use for a lifetime.
Since molars are a part of the mouth that naturally wears down, they may need to be restored again in about 20 to 30 years.
In the end, I think Minish may last as long as my natural teeth do.
I hope my Minish review helps patients who are considering whether to get Minish.
That concludes the Minish review from a dentist who got Minish.
