Hello. I’m Kim Yu-na, the chief director of Clare Dental Clinic.
It’s the week before Christmas now.
Today, I’d like to introduce a case in which asymmetry was improved with laminate veneers.
Orthodontic treatment is effective for improving tooth alignment and the size of the dental arch,
but it has limitations when it comes to changing the teeth’ original shape itself.
This patient was a 48-year-old woman. The lateral incisor, which is the tooth next to the large front teeth, had not erupted congenitally,
so the canine took on the role of a front tooth, making the smile line somewhat unnatural.
Ah, of course, she had undergone orthodontic treatment. But she said she was not very satisfied.
Clare Dental Clinic specializes in cosmetic laminate veneers, and as the chief director, I always insist on the principle of minimal tooth reduction,
placing the greatest importance on harmony between natural form and function.

Before reduction / After reduction / After setting
Only four laminate veneers were placed.
Before the procedure, the patient smiled shyly,
but after the veneers were set, she showed a much more confident and beautiful smile.
It is a case that clearly shows how much a change in the smile can transform the entire impression.
And somehow, she seems a little younger? hahaha To my eyes, all of my patients look beautiful.

The more reduction there is, the easier it is for laminate veneers to come out beautifully.
But making them look natural and beautiful with minimal reduction is a matter of skill.
That’s because the final shape of the teeth is predicted in advance before the procedure, and the design is carefully refined.
Small differences make the result.
For all of us, let’s become prettier today than yesterday.
Then I’ll be going now, goodbye 😊
