What do you think about using donated rib cartilage for nose surgery? I feel reluctant about harvesting my own rib cartilage, but in the long run, is donated rib cartilage less likely to cause aftereffects?

先生は鼻手術の際の寄贈肋軟骨の使用についてどのようにお考えですか？自家肋軟骨の採取に抵抗がありますが、やはり長い目で考えた時に寄贈肋軟骨の方が後戻りしやすいのでしょうか。

Donated rib cartilage is also a material widely used in nose surgery, and if it is handled properly, the chance of it shifting back is not high. However, depending on the individual, if it does not suit them, there is a possibility that some of it may be absorbed. If you are worried about relapse after surgery, I would recommend autologous rib cartilage.
