2025 Lime Tree Dental Year-End Party: Aria Buffet at The Westin Josun Seoul & A Moving Theater Performance, ‘Then and Today 2’

On the last Tuesday of 2025, how did you spend your day? Yesterday, our Lime Tree Dental family had a very special day. We’re about to introduce the scene from our 2025 year-end party, where we enjoyed delicious food and filled our hearts with a deeply moving play!

🍴 First course: ‘Aria’ at The Westin Josun Seoul, satisfying all five senses

We kicked off this year’s year-end party at ‘Aria’ in The Westin Josun Seoul, located near City Hall Station. As befitting its reputation as one of Korea’s top three buffets, the excitement of the year-end season could be felt from the entrance.

It was the finest meal arranged by Director Kim In-soo, who encouraged the staff members who sincerely did their best for patients throughout the year. Fresh lobster and snow crab, lamb chops grilled right on the spot, and Aria’s signature premium sushi! It was truly a perfect meal, with not a single item on the menu left untouched.

In particular, the most popular spot among our staff was definitely the dessert corner. As we enjoyed sweet cakes and fruit and shared fun episodes from the year, time at the buffet passed by in no time.

🎭 Second course: A special cultural journey to Daehangno near Hyehwa Station

After filling our stomachs, we moved to Daehangno near Hyehwa Station to enjoy the highlight of the year-end party. The performance we watched today was the play <Then and Today 2: Wedding Shoes>.

In fact, this performance was especially meaningful for us. That’s because Kim Hye-eun, the wife of Dr. Kim In-soo, the head of Lime Tree Dental, and an actor loved for her outstanding performances, took the stage in the lead role!

Even though it was a weekday evening, the theater entrance was packed with fans cheering for the actors and audience members who love plays. We at Lime Tree also entered excitedly, holding our tickets.

🎬 Play <Then and Today 2: Wedding Shoes> - a weighty emotion that transcends generations

This play, <Then and Today 2>, presents the stories of ordinary people who lived through their times in an omnibus format, set against major events in modern Korean history.

"Our stories that existed then and still exist today"

The ‘Wedding Shoes’ episode we watched dealt delicately with past pain and present healing. The energy from the actors on stage overwhelmed the entire small theater.

✨ The fantastic acting chemistry of actors Kim Hye-eun and Ahn So-hee

Yesterday’s performance featured actors Kim Hye-eun and Ahn So-hee. Meeting the two of them on stage, after only seeing them on screen and on television, was truly moving.

• Actor Kim Hye-eun: With her deep voice and delicate expressions, she firmly anchored the center of the play. With every line she delivered in each scene, her persuasive power truly moved the audience’s hearts. She showed a charisma on stage that was very different from the elegant image we usually see when she visits the hospital, and all of our staff became complete fans! 💓

• Actor Ahn So-hee: Her calm acting, which delicately expressed the subtle lines of emotion, was truly impressive. Her chemistry with actor Kim Hye-eun was so good that every time their conversations continued, tension and emotion alternated throughout the theater.

As the play passed the midpoint and reached its climax, it was so immersive that sniffles could be heard from all over the seats. Our staff also took out handkerchiefs to wipe away tears, spending time deeply empathizing with the pain of that era and the hope that blossomed within it.

📸 Preserving the lingering feeling of the performance

When the performance ended and the curtain call began, the audience burst into a standing ovation. We also gave loud applause to actors Kim Hye-eun and Ahn So-hee for their passionate performances.

As we left the theater, the staff gave a thumbs-up and said, “It wasn’t just a get-together to enjoy ourselves; it was a time that purified our hearts.” It was a night when we once again expressed our gratitude to Director Kim In-soo for making it possible for us to see such a precious performance.
