We are Yonsei Yegam Dental Clinic, located directly across from the Samsung Main Building at Exit 7 of Seoul City Hall Station.

After scaling like this, once the tartar is removed, the teeth may feel as if there is space between them,

and the swollen gums may bleed.

Even if there seems to be an empty space, the waste(?) that should be removed still needs to be removed, so scaling is necessary.

Also, as the tartar covering the teeth is removed, you may feel sensitivity, but the tartar that needs to be removed must be removed [! firmly].

Scaling is a health insurance treatment guaranteed by the country,

so please make sure to get it at least once a year.

Annual scaling is

applicable to Korean nationals aged 19 and older who have National Health Insurance,

and can be used once a year based on January 1 to December 31.

If you have poor gum health and tartar builds up easily,

in addition to the once-a-year scaling,

scaling based on gum treatment is also covered by health insurance,

so under a dentist’s diagnosis, you can receive it once every six months.

Scaling is tartar removal above the gums,

so if there is tartar accumulated below the gums as well, you must receive gum treatment!

Gum treatment is also covered by health insurance.
