Today, this is a case of a patient who came in for a consultation for non-prep laminate, with a peg tooth in the lateral incisor and an old front-tooth resin filling from another clinic on the central incisor. The before-and-after photos are as follows.

As you can see in the photo, old resin fragments can be seen on the central incisor, and the tooth next to it has a smaller shape. So when viewed from the side, there was an empty-looking area, and the smile did not have a very attractive tooth line. Also, the teeth felt a little too short, so they did not give a refreshing appearance, so they were made slightly longer.

After taking impressions of the teeth, and because the patient's goal was cosmetic improvement, 6 upper ceramic laminates were made. If a brighter shade of laminate is used, it can also create a teeth-whitening effect. Even if only the 6 upper teeth are laminated, since they are the most visible area, the teeth can overall appear whiter, creating a neat and clean impression.
