Because the double eyelids are different, because the strength of opening the eyes is different, because the shape of the canthoplasty is different, and so on.
#EyeAsymmetry #UnevenEyes can be a subtle source of stress in many cases.
There are several ways to correct this kind of uneven asymmetry.
You can have double-eyelid surgery done again, have #eye correction done again, or undergo canthoplasty, among other methods.

Eye correction that balances uneven eyes
When there is a clear difference between the two eyes, whether you undergo eye correction or double-eyelid surgery, the change before and after is obvious.
In fact, that makes it less difficult to correct.
However, when the asymmetry between the two eyes is very slight, correction is often more difficult.
That is because when pulling on human tissue, especially when the tissue is swollen due to local anesthesia and other factors, matching such subtle differences is inevitably a very difficult process.

Looking at both eyes before surgery,
At a glance, the eyes look the same size, but if you look closely, the patient’s left eye is slightly larger, and the right eye (the side with the arrow) is opening just a little less.
This is not just a vague feeling that one eye opens less; if you compare them using an objective indicator of ptosis, you can see that the MRD (margin reflex distance) of the patient’s right eye is much smaller than the MRD of the left eye.

Before correction for uneven eyes
Also, looking at the right eye (the side with the arrow), you can see a white-eye appearance where the black pupil does not reach the lower eyelid margin. In cases where there is slight ptosis, people strangely raise their forehead or, without realizing it, the fascia of the lower eyelid is pulled, causing the lower eyelid to be drawn downward in order to match the eye size.
In some cases, a slight #ptosis may be accompanied by #white-eye appearance.

After correction for uneven eyes
After eye correction to correct uneven eyes accompanied by this mild ptosis of the lower eyelid and white-eye appearance,
as shown in the photo above, the white-eye appearance may disappear.
If you think about this improvement in white-eye appearance in reverse, it means that there was slight ptosis in the upper eyelid.
After eye correction,
The white-eye appearance of the lower eyelid improves!

#NonIncisionalEyeCorrection does more than just pull the muscle; it also helps balance the size of the double eyelids on both sides, so for about a month, slight sutured-scar marks may be visible.

If you look at it one week after surgery, swelling usually subsides less on the side with slightly more ptosis, but after about two weeks,
it usually goes down and the two eyes come into balance.

The effect of eye correction is best confirmed accurately and without doubt by looking at the video.
Please pay attention to how the white-eye appearance is visible in the right eye before surgery and how it improves after surgery!

Lari Plastic Surgery Clinic, which corrects mild ptosis with non-incisional eye correction, is located at Exit 5 of Apgujeong Rodeo Station on the Bundang Line.
Please consult with the director, who makes accurate diagnoses, about asymmetry or ptosis!
