For a natural look, we decided to work on a total of eight upper front teeth,

and because the patient wanted to change the color to a brighter shade, we planned for the W2 shade.

And before treatment, as mentioned earlier, we planned the amount of reduction in advance and made the guide.

The prognosis varies depending on how much the teeth are shaped.

The point patients worry about most when receiving treatment is the amount of tooth reduction.

Usually, the most important thing is to remove a very small amount from the outer surface of the tooth, and if too much is shaped away, the inner part of the tooth may be exposed, which can continuously cause sensitivity.

That is why Make Dental Clinic proceeds with the shaping process by expressing it in numerical values. It is shown down to decimal places of 0.001 mm, so the prosthetic design is carried out based on accurate data.

First, the left side of the first front tooth on the right was 0.280 mm.

The left side of the second front tooth was 0.349 mm.

For the canine area, which was the third tooth, we set the shaping amount at 0.468 mm to align the arrangement.

And for the middle and back parts of the second front tooth on the left, the shaping amounts were measured at 0.322 mm and 0.280 mm.

To summarize,

because making the overall arrangement into an arch rather than a straight line looks much more natural, we planned to proceed with minimal reduction for #13-21 and no reduction for #22 and 23.

In addition, we also planned gum contouring together so that the gum line would be even, creating a fresher impression when smiling.

At this time, using the guide mentioned earlier, we carefully accounted for even the smallest details during treatment.

It can be done without a guide, but doing it this way feels like my uncompromising commitment to giving a more satisfying result.
